The Country Church. Down Home Fellowship of Christians striving to keep our hearts and minds focused on following Jesus' example of God's love for the whole world. John 3:16

The Country Church officially started September 1, 2017. Pastor Wayne and Wanda Cooley were accepted as the founding pastors at this time. The original founding members had been meeting as a small group at Judy’s Family Restaurant on Sunday evenings and made the decision to look for a pastor in August 2017. Pastor Wayne accepted the position and The Country Church began. A small group of women and

men worked together to establish the statement of faith, church bylaws, and file the 501©3 papers. We continued to meet at Judy's Restaurant in Fruita Sunday evenings for the next 16 months.

Ìn January 2019 we signed a rental agreement with the Seventh Day Adventist Church of Fruita to utilize their facilities for church services and special events. It was a great partnership of two congregations working together to limit cost and where we are still meeting.
