Good morning, gentlemen.
Since I don't normally send a devotional on Sundays, I wanted to simply take a moment and wish each of you a Happy Father's Day.
Today, I'm reminded that fatherhood is bigger than a title.
Some of you are dads raising children.
Some are grandfathers leaving a legacy.
Some are sons honoring fathers who shaped your lives.
Some are mentors, coaches, teachers, uncles, pastors, and friends who have stepped into the lives of others and provided guidance, encouragement, and wisdom when it was needed most.
And some of you have become father figures to people whose own fathers were absent, distant, or unable to be the example they needed.
Never underestimate the impact of that.
Our world desperately needs godly men.
Men who show up.
Men who keep their word.
Men who love their families.
Men who protect, provide, encourage, teach, and pray.
Men who point others toward Jesus by the way they live.
Most of that influence happens quietly. There are no headlines, trophies, or applause. But God sees it all.
He sees every prayer you've prayed for your family.
Every sacrifice you've made.
Every lesson you've taught.
Every time you've chosen faithfulness when nobody was watching.
Those things matter.
Thank you for allowing me to walk alongside you through these daily devotionals. You men have encouraged me, challenged me, and blessed me more than you probably realize.
Today, whether you're celebrating, remembering, grieving, mentoring, or simply thanking God for the men who have influenced your life, I pray you are reminded of how valuable you are and how much your influence matters.
May God bless each of you today.
Happy Father's Day, gentlemen.
