In case you missed it, the Global Episcopacy Committee of the Global Methodist Church has released a preliminary list of 27 episcopal nominees for General Conference 2026.

This marks the beginning of a season of prayerful discernment as we look ahead to the election of eight bishops who will help lead our global church into its next chapter.

Additional nominees may be received through May 15, and updated information, including nominee profiles, will be shared as it becomes available.

We invite you to join us in praying for each nominee and for the work ahead.

JOIN US IN WELCOMING REV. MIKE HUDSON!

As of April 1, the Rev. Mike Hudson will become the new presiding elder for the Atlantic North District. Mike serves as the lead pastor of CrossRoad Church in Jacksonville. He brings many years of outstanding leadership experience to our Cabinet, having served Christ Venice Church and Ortega Church in addition to CrossRoad Church. Welcome, Rev. Hudson!

SENDING OUR GRATITUDE TO REV. CORKY CALHOUN!

The Rev. Corky Calhoun will be stepping away from the Cabinet at the end of this month. Corky has been an amazing member of our team and served before the inception of the Florida Conference. His strong leadership, attention to detail, and stalwart integrity have been a guiding force for the Florida GMC. We will remain grateful for all he has done and will miss him very much.

When the Global Methodist Church gathers for General Conference 2026, we won’t only gather to worship and discern — we will also serve.

Through the Mission Experience, volunteers and local partners will help provide:
• Over 3,000 meals
• Health kits
• A Children’s Bible Camp
• Spirit & Truth Training
• Community service projects

Our goal is to raise $90,000 and invite prayer partners from around the world to join us.
