Vacation Bible School 2025 is in the books! It was a great week being reminded that because God is with us, and having put on the Armor of God, we are to be "Strong and Courageous" going forward under the banner of Grace declaring the Glory of God.

-Joshua 1:9 "Have I not commanded you? Be strong and courageous. Do not be frightened, and do not be dismayed, for the Lord your God is with you wherever you go."

-Ephesians 6:11 "Put on the whole armor of God, that you may be able to stand against the schemes of the devil."

Direcly following worship we will have our monthly covered dish lunch and the youth fundraiser Bake auction/ sale to help send our kids and your to camp this summer.

Happy reformation day!!
The first of Luther’s 95 points of debate against the church during his time was this:

1. “Our Lord and Master Jesus Christ, when He said Poenitentiam agite, willed that the whole life of believers should be repentance.”

Luther’s desire was to show that the life of the Christian was to be constantly drawn back to God through Christ in consistent humility.
Jesus our good shepherd is alway bringing us the wondering sheep into his sheepfold. Sanctification is thus a work of God’s free grace where he renews us daily, making us more and more into the likeness of Christ.

Repentance is then not a one time act but a daily attitude of heart, mind, spirit. It is where we turn from our sin to Christ as we love Him more and more at thre same time hating our sin to the same degree.
