Elder Greg Belcher shares part one of a series titled "Encountering Jesus". Jesus meets us where we're at, but He doesn't want us to stay there. In John 4 Jesus has an intentional encounter with a woman at a well during the heat of the day. The woman leaves the encounter changed. She hurries off without the one thing she came to the well for, drinking water, because she has been filled with Living Water from Jesus. Her encounter with Jesus not only changed her, but led many to encounter Jesus, believe and leave changed.

Jesus changes everything. When you Know and Trust Jesus He changes you.

On the night before the cross, Jesus sat at a Passover table that looked backward to Egypt and forward to eternity. Jesus took the bread and cup and declared that He Himself was the true Passover Lamb.
-Humanity is enslaved to sin.
-God provided a spotless lamb, a perfect Sacrifice
-We can only be set free from sin and death by His blood
-Every week when we gather together at His table we should do so in readiness for deliverance. To walk in freedom trusting Jesus for our salvation. Remembering what He has done, celebrating what He is doing, and anticipating what is still to come

Today, if Jesus doesn’t have your full life, your full trust - Lay it all down, give your whole life to Jesus. Today and every day going forward walk in faith trusting Him as the Lord over your life.
He has been working - He is working - You can trust that He will continue to work for the good of all those WHO LOVE and TRUST IN HIM.

A mother's love is often described as unconditional and selfless, and is characterized by sacrifice, care, and devotion. That doesn’t always play out the same in the real world. Life can be challenging and parenting is hard. Sometimes a mother does hard things, sometimes a woman becomes a mother to someone who isn’t their biological child, sometimes there is distance, and hurt, but through it all God uses the mothers He places in our live. Regardless of if they are biological mothers, mothers from a distance or mothers for a period of time, God can and does use them all.

In Exodus 2:1-10, we see 3 motherly figures for Moses who love him with a bold, watchful, compassionate love. Like the mother figures in our life, these three women showed a motherly love and played a role in who he was and how God used him.
