AHOY, MATES! PATCH THE PIRATE CLUB IS BACK! ⚓️

We’re excited to set sail for another year of Patch the Pirate Club at Rivermont Baptist Church! Beginning this week on Wednesday, September 9th, boys and girls ages 6–12 are invited to join us each week from 6:00–7:00 PM.

Each Wednesday will be filled with learning God’s Word, memorizing Scripture, singing, games, activities, earning patches and awards, and plenty of fun along the way! ❤️⚓️

Ladies, our new weekly Bible study begins this week! 🙌🏻

Life doesn’t always turn out the way we prayed, planned, or imagined—but even in the seasons we don’t understand, God is still good, still faithful, and still worthy of our trust. ❤️

Our L.I.F.T. Ladies Ministry will be beginning This Isn’t the Life I Prayed For: A Study of the Book of Job by Tami Bailey Nantz. Together, we’ll walk through the book of Job and learn more about trusting God through life’s trials, resting in His wisdom, and recognizing His faithfulness even when we don’t have all the answers.

To accommodate different schedules, we’re offering two meeting times each week:

🌙 Tuesday Evenings — 6:30 PM
Beginning September 8

☀️ Wednesday Mornings — 10:30 AM
Beginning September 9

📖 Book Cost: $20

Whether mornings or evenings work best for you, we would love to have you join us! Come grow in God’s Word, encourage one another, and enjoy the fellowship of sisters in Christ.

I am so excited to begin a NEW Weekly Ladies Bible Study as part of our Ladies L.I.F.T. Ministry!! 🙌🏻

Beginning this upcoming Wednesday, September 9th at 10:30 AM, we’ll be walking together through “This Isn’t the Life I Prayed For: A Study of the Book of Job” by Tami Bailey Nantz.

This study is especially meaningful to me because Tami and I grew up together, and I’m thankful that we remain friends today. It has been such a blessing to see how God has gifted her with the ability to write and use His Word to encourage women in their walk with the Lord.

Through the life of Job, we’re going to dig into God’s Word and learn more about trusting His character, recognizing His faithfulness, and finding hope even when we don’t understand what He is doing.

I believe there is so much we can learn together as we walk through the trials of life—and there is something very special about doing that alongside other sisters in Christ. I’m looking forward to the conversations, the fellowship, the encouragement, and most importantly, the time we’ll spend together in God’s Word.

I am so excited to begin a NEW Weekly Ladies Bible Study as part of our Ladies L.I.F.T. Ministry!! 🙌🏻

God’s Word was never meant to simply fill our minds with information—it was given to change our hearts and transform our lives. 📖

As we read the Bible, hear it preached, and hide it in our hearts, may we allow the Lord to shape our thoughts, our choices, our attitudes, and our actions.

May we not just know what God says, but may we allow His Word to change the way we live!
