Love you guys.
Apologies for the delayed post – we’ve had a busy few months! On April 30, Phoenix Project had the extraordinary honor of being invited to attend the visit of Their Majesties King Charles III and Queen Camilla during their visit to Front Royal.
As an organization dedicated to supporting survivors of domestic and sexual violence, we were deeply grateful for the opportunity to meet Queen Camilla and personally thank her for her longstanding commitment to raising awareness about violence against women and supporting survivors. In a brief but meaningful conversation, we were able to share a little about Phoenix Project's work and the ways we stand alongside survivors in our community every day.
Thank you so much to the event organizers who had to follow strict guidance and protocols established by the Embassy - what a task! It was an honor to be there to represent our entire Phoenix Project family—staff, volunteers, board members, and the survivors who inspire our work every day. We are blessed to be our “community’s response to sexual and domestic violence.”
