Children's Hunger Fund prioritizes relationships, and no part of our service model shows that more than the home delivery model. Many needed services provided to your local community are emergency-based, where hungry individuals or families can come pick up supplies as needed. This fills the gap in a specific way for families in need.
CHF partners with local churches to provide home delivery. Our goal is to be able to build relationships over multiple visits. This creates an opportunity for the family to get to know people from their local community and allows the church to learn about and address other concerns as the hands and feet of Christ.
The Home Delivery model means we don't just deliver much-needed food, but hope. We train each church in meeting with and praying for the children and families who receive a Food Pak. Thanks to the generosity of our supporters and volunteers, each box of food comes with an opportunity for the Gospel of Jesus to be made known, and his love to fill hearts with hope.
