I’m becoming the woman I’ve always wanted to be and I love that for me.💛

On an even brighter note, I found the brokerage that I’ll be holding my real estate license with. I had been praying about it and when I met with the district director , it was an INSTANT connection that I knew God was in. As a believer, my faith permeates every aspect of my life including business. I want to go where God wants me to go and I want to serve who God calls me to serve.

I truly believe “ministry” is not just in church, ministry can be in the “marketplace”.

Last night, I officially completed my 180 hour real estate course. New pictures with my arm folded coming soon…😂

I’ve always been interested in real estate but too scared to even fool with it. I had a brother who bought a house in Houston, was planning on flipping it and it got destroyed by a hurricane and ended up losing everything.

My desire quickly went away because now I associated real estate with trauma and loss.

Fast forward years later, I marry a loan officer whose obsessed with homes. In this season, my challenge to myself is stepping out of my comfort zone, dreaming again, and going after everything God wants me to have.

It is HIM who gives us the ability to use our minds, intelligence and strategy to produce here on this earth and Imma take full advantage of it…🖤

Barriers are not bad and saying “no” doesn’t mean you’re not being nice.
Even Jesus Himself said no to certain people in order to preserve the purpose for which He came.

People pleasing will have you getting dragged to and fro by everyone and everything because you’re too afraid to set boundaries and stick to them.

Whether it’s relationships, business, or both, it’s okay to have boundaries. The people that you’re meant to be with or work with, will have no problem with honoring them. As a child of God, you don’t have to be desperate.

When it’s necessary, nicely say no.🤍
