As we seek the Lord and strive to confirm our place in God by applying His Word to our daily lives, we are transformed more and more into His image. Along this journey, we must always examine ourselves to ensure that we are walking in His will and purpose for our lives. Can we see God's love at work within us? Can others see it as well? Is the fruit of the Spirit evident in our lives, producing love, joy, peace, patience, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, gentleness, and self-control in us? We must continually yield ourselves to the work of the Holy Spirit, shaping and refining us each day until the very end. Giving God all the glory, whose power and grace makes our spiritual transformation possible.

We spend a great deal of time creating and working to establish plans for ourselves and our families. Many times, we pursue those plans at the expense of others. Yet when our plans fail, we are often quick to place the blame on someone else.The reason many of our plans fail is not because of others, but because we have not allowed God to direct our steps within those plans. When we surrender our plans to God and allow Him to order our steps, our lives become aligned with His will. As a result, our families are blessed, others are blessed through us, and God receives all the glory.

Our love for God must be greater than our love for self and the things of this world. Even in difficult and challenging times, we must seek God. Even in the midst of our troubles, God is able to save, strengthen, and deliver us. We must love the Lord with everything within us—with all our heart, mind, and soul. When God is first in our lives, we can pray knowing God will answer us according to His perfect Will for us and deliver and save us.

No matter what comes our way, we must remain strong in our faith. We must stay on our guard, because the world and Satan is trying to persuade us to abandon our faith in God. We cannot allow difficult times to cause us to lose our faith. We must remain standing, trusting God through every trial and circumstance. We must be courageous and remember that our faith in God is more important than the cares and troubles of this world. Let us remain strong in Christ Jesus all the days of our lives, trusting in God’s Word, standing firm in our faith, and giving God all the glory, honor, and praise forever. Amen!
