Wynne is teaching again- this Wednesday starts Resonant Spellcrafting a course in Magic. This course is for beginners starting out and intermediate practitioners excited to dig into the details, and the why. It isn’t a list of spells to memorize- it’s how to craft your own, or rebuild one you found to suit your specific needs.

Tickets available on Zeffy- course delivered on Zoom!

January 27th is International Holocaust Remembrance Day—the anniversary of Auschwitz’s liberation. We remember because we swore we would. Because “never again” was supposed to mean something.
Remembrance is not passive. It exists so we recognize the patterns before they complete themselves.
The Holocaust did not begin with camps. It began with rhetoric—with “those people” becoming the source of every problem, with neighbors turned into enemies, with a government that found it easier to blame than to build. It began with ordinary people deciding that someone else’s dehumanization was not their concern. It began with being asked to accept things that would have been unthinkable the year before. And then the year after that, the new unthinkable. And the year after that.
If you’re ready, there’s a working on the Substack—using stuff you already have.
Don’t buy something. Do something.

On this day of gratitude and harvest, we wish you all love, care, and a warm meal.

May we remember the myth of sacred hospitality that surrounds this day, and choose steps toward a world where different peoples can truly meet, break bread, and support one another.

May we lend support to those who see this day not as celebration but as mourning—for genocide, cultural erasure, broken treaties, and ongoing harm to Indigenous peoples.

May we hold love in our hearts as we fill our stomachs. May we be blessed with things to be thankful for, and the grace to listen for love and not for rebuttal.

Blessed Thanksgiving.

Blessed Samhain

May you connect with those who came before, family, friends, teachers, those who have inspired you, those who have come before you, and honor their journey as you honor your own.

Tonight, I’ll light a bonfire to commune with my ancestors—of blood, bone, inspiration, and tears. In this precarious moment, when so much that generations fought for feels threatened, I’m asking for their guidance and strength.

I’m calling on them to stand with all of us as we work to protect eachother, to care for the vulnerable, to feed one another, to fight for a better future, and to eradicate complacency. I want to become an ancestor my children’s children can be proud of.

May we all find the courage to be there for one another, to turn the tide toward grace, mercy, hospitality, and love. May we be stewards and siblings with our world, not dominators or conquerors.

To all who celebrate—blessed Samhain. 🔥

“Today, we celebrate Indigenous Peoples’ Day because it tells a more accurate story. It’s a day that recognizes the resilience of Native peoples — the original stewards of this land — and affirms our place in the present and the future, not just the past. But even if this day weren’t on the calendar, we would still be here, still celebrating our cultures, still fighting for our rights, and still loving our people.”

Opinion. It’s a good day to be Indigenous.

Why

Tonight, October 5, skywatchers are in for a stunning cosmic treat! The nearly full Moon will appear side by side with Saturn, creating a breathtaking alignment in the night sky. This beautiful conjunction is a vivid reminder of the harmony within our solar system.

For the best view, head outside shortly after sunset and look toward the southeast. You can enjoy the sight with the naked eye, but a small telescope will reveal even more magic—Saturn’s dazzling rings shining alongside the Moon’s glowing surface.

Moments like this prove you don’t need to travel far to witness the wonders of the cosmos—the universe often brings the magic right above us.
