Emmanuel is an outgoing, expressive, and confident young boy who brings energy wherever he goes.

Whether he's making new friends, excelling in school, or playing his favorite game of soccer, he approaches life with joy and determination. And if there's rice on the menu, he's one happy kid!

Like every child, Emmanuel deserves the opportunity to grow up knowing he is loved, supported, and never alone.

When you support Every Orphan's Hope, you're helping restore more than basic needs. You're helping restore hope, stability, and a sense of belonging that every child needs to thrive.

Because every child deserves to know they have a place to call home.

Behind every large ministry gathering are dozens of decisions most people never see.

Which churches will participate?
How will supplies reach each location?
Who will welcome the children?
How will volunteers be prepared to serve with dignity?
What happens after the event?

These questions matter because a large turnout alone is not the goal.

Every Orphan’s Hope is preparing for Orphan Sunday with the hope that children will experience more than a meal, a program, or a crowded gathering. The desire is for each child to encounter a church that sees them, values them, and understands its responsibility to continue caring.

The behind-the-scenes work is not glamorous, but it helps turn good intentions into thoughtful action. Pray for wisdom, coordination, and strong church leadership throughout the preparation process.

When supporters help provide meals, shoes, training, and ministry resources, they are not simply funding a distribution effort.

They are helping local churches create points of connection with children who may otherwise remain unseen.

A meal may open the door to a conversation.
A pair of shoes may introduce a child to a caring church volunteer.

A church gathering may help a pastor recognize needs that have existed in the community for years.

The resources matter, but their greatest value is found in how they help the Church build relationships. This is the deeper work your support makes possible: equipping the Body of Christ in Zambia to reach orphans with practical care, lasting presence, and the hope of Jesus.

Thank you for standing with churches as they prepare to serve children in their own communities.

Most people have heard that children around the world need families, care, and hope.

The question is: What comes next?

Across Zambia, churches are answering that question by preparing for Orphan Sunday on November 8.

They're moving beyond awareness and asking, How can our church reflect God's heart for vulnerable children?

For churches around the world, it begins with faithful prayer for the movement and the communities it will impact in Zambia.

Awareness is important. Obedience changes lives.

Take your next step this week by praying for the Church in Zambia as it prepares to care for vulnerable children.

This September, 19,296 pairs of new shoes are expected to arrive in Zambia.

For many children, receiving a new pair of shoes can make daily life easier. Shoes can help a child walk to school, move through the community safely, and participate with greater confidence.

But the shoes are not the end of the story.

They will be distributed through local churches, placing a practical resource into the hands of people who live in the same communities as the children they serve.

That matters because lasting care requires more than a delivery. It requires people who remain nearby, notice when something is wrong, and continue to show up.

The shoes meet an immediate need. The church has the opportunity to build the relationship that follows. Pray for the churches that will distribute these shoes and for every child who will receive a pair.

Soon, 273,000 meals will arrive in Zambia for distribution through churches participating in Orphan Sunday.

The number is significant, but the deeper story is not simply about food. A meal can create a moment of welcome. It can bring a child through the doors of a church. It can give volunteers an opportunity to listen, learn a name, understand a need, and begin building trust.

For children who are often viewed as someone else’s responsibility, that welcome matters. The meals will meet a practical need, but they will also support something larger: local churches creating space for orphans to be known, served, and introduced to the love of Jesus.

The food will be distributed. The hope is that the relationships will continue. Pray that every meal becomes an opportunity for meaningful connection between a child and a local church.

Across Zambia, churches are already preparing for Orphan Sunday on November 8.

Pastors are praying over their messages.

Church leaders are planning ways to care for vulnerable children and support caregivers. Congregations are preparing to reflect God's heart for the fatherless in practical, life-changing ways.

If you're part of a church in the United States, you can be part of this movement too. Pray for wisdom as churches prepare. Pray for vulnerable children to experience the love of Christ.

Pray that families, caregivers, and local churches will be strengthened as they respond to God's call.

We're grateful for the body of Christ in the US that chooses to stand with Zambia in prayer.

We’re delivering 19,296 pairs of brand-new shoes to orphans in Zambia—and we’d love your help! 👟

The shoes have already been donated. Now Every Orphan’s Hope is raising the funds needed to ship them to Zambia, where local churches will distribute them to orphans in their own communities.

It costs just $1.04 to get one pair there.

We’re 25% of the way to our goal. Will you help us get every pair to Zambia?

Please donate at: https://everyorphan.org/cause/shoes-for-orphans/

Thank you!

Many live in communities where churches are present, but they may still remain unseen, disconnected, and unreached with the Gospel.

That is why we believe the local church is essential.

A church already knows the language, the community, the families, and the realities children face. When that church is equipped to recognize and welcome orphans, care becomes more than a one-time act of compassion. It becomes an ongoing relationship.

The goal is not for churches to host one event and move on. The goal is for orphans to be seen differently, welcomed into community, and introduced to the hope of Jesus.

This is the vision behind Orphan Sunday in Zambia: the Body of Christ reaching children who have too often been overlooked. Pray for churches across Zambia as they prepare to see, welcome, and reach the orphans in their own communities.

Camp Hope #3 begins TODAY—and this one is especially significant! 🇿🇲❤️

For the first time this season, Camp Hope is being carried out entirely by Zambians. Our Mobile Camp Team is serving alongside local church volunteers to bring the Gospel to orphaned children in their own communities.

Camp Hope is about awakening and equipping the Church in Zambia to see orphans, love them, disciple them, and embrace its God-given calling to care for them—and this week, we get to see that vision beautifully lived out.

Please pray for the children, staff, and volunteers this week. May the word of Christ dwell richly among them as they share His love and hope!
