LWMS - Texas Gulf Coast Circuit Lutheran Women's Missionary Society (LWMS) is "Women Working for Missions. We are united to serve Jesus.

Lutheran Women's Missionary Society (LWMS) is women dedicated to serving Jesus by increasing awareness of, interest in, and support of the mission outreach of the Wisconsin Evangelical Lutheran Synod (WELS). Our objective is "To increase interest in and to support mission endeavors which are part of or in the interest of the Wisconsin Evangelical Lutheran Synod." The Texas Gulf Coast Circuit is ma

de up of women in eight congregations in the area. We meet twice a year to learn more ways to support mission work.

Thank you for encouraging our Pastors!

Lord Jesus, thank you for calling pastors into your harvest field. Keep them faithful and humble as they serve. Fill them with your Spirit through your gospel in Word and sacraments, so that as they pour themselves out for others, they are refreshed by you. Bless their continued spiritual and professional growth through opportunities like Grow in Grace and give them wisdom to apply what they learn in the places where you have sent them. Encourage congregations and leaders to support their pastors with time and resources for this work, so that your people are served well and your name is honored. Amen.

Thankful for your sacrifice.

A PRAYER FOR MEMORIAL DAY WEEKEND

Heavenly Father, this weekend our memories go back to those who have died to preserve our nation’s liberties. You raised up brave men and women and gave them the determination to sacrifice everything for us, the citizens of the United States of America. Comfort those who grieve their deaths with your promise that those who die in the Lord will rise again. Move us, the living, to be diligent in our prayers for our nation and her leaders. Help us to be the light that reflects Christ in the way we interact with our fellow citizens, so that many more may know and believe that your sacrifice brings true freedom and everlasting life. In your Son’s name we pray. Amen.

LWMS Reporters--An invitation to all of you planning to attend the 2026 LWMS Convention in Madison, Wisconsin next month. There will be a Reporter Roundtable Lunch and Learn held on Saturday, June 27th during the lunch hour. Boxed lunches are on the menu that day so bring them along.

Other interested members are welcome to attend as well! Door prizes will be given and we ask you to bring your questions, successes and struggles to share with others in a fellowship, light hearted setting. The LAC-LWMS Awareness Committee-will be hosting with the prayerful hope of increasing awareness of aspects of LWMS that many of you could benefit from. We look forward to seeing you there.

For those of you unable to attend, we will hope to share information that is exchanged there in future communications. To God be the glory and see you in Madison!!
