LWMS - Texas Gulf Coast Circuit Lutheran Women's Missionary Society (LWMS) is "Women Working for Missions. We are united to serve Jesus.

Lutheran Women's Missionary Society (LWMS) is women dedicated to serving Jesus by increasing awareness of, interest in, and support of the mission outreach of the Wisconsin Evangelical Lutheran Synod (WELS). Our objective is "To increase interest in and to support mission endeavors which are part of or in the interest of the Wisconsin Evangelical Lutheran Synod." The Texas Gulf Coast Circuit is ma

Update - Convention Livestream information

For those of you that need to attend virtually, there will be links here posted 30 minutes before it starts plus there are links posted on the convention website. Please note for the safety of some of our speakers, their messages will not be broadcast.

Here we are with the 63rd Annual 2026 LWMS Convention upon us!!! What a joy and privilege to be a part of it in several ways. There will be those in attendance at Madison Wisconsin from Thursday, June 25th through Sunday, June 28th. There will be some others who have chosen the weekend option and will be there to participate on Saturday, June 27th through Sunday, June 28th.

For those of you who are not fortunate to be able to be there in person this year (get planning to be there in 2027) another option still remains and that is through the blessing of live streaming those portions of the convention that are able to be shared via the internet.
Visit the LWMS website at lwms.org and search under convention and there will be a link to the portions of convention that are live streamed.

What a wonderful way to still "feel like you are there" and where you are able to continue to learn of and be aware of the latest mission news and LWMS business. Sing along, listen along and Praise our God along with all in Madison. "Cast Out Your Nets" and join along as we worship our Lord for His continued blessings through LWMS and Missions! See you there.

To know Janet is to love Janet. We rest in comfort knowing that we will see her again. We are thankful for the time that she was one of the gals in the Texas Gulf Coast Circuit.

Thank you for encouraging our Pastors!

Lord Jesus, thank you for calling pastors into your harvest field. Keep them faithful and humble as they serve. Fill them with your Spirit through your gospel in Word and sacraments, so that as they pour themselves out for others, they are refreshed by you. Bless their continued spiritual and professional growth through opportunities like Grow in Grace and give them wisdom to apply what they learn in the places where you have sent them. Encourage congregations and leaders to support their pastors with time and resources for this work, so that your people are served well and your name is honored. Amen.

Thankful for your sacrifice.

A PRAYER FOR MEMORIAL DAY WEEKEND

Heavenly Father, this weekend our memories go back to those who have died to preserve our nation’s liberties. You raised up brave men and women and gave them the determination to sacrifice everything for us, the citizens of the United States of America. Comfort those who grieve their deaths with your promise that those who die in the Lord will rise again. Move us, the living, to be diligent in our prayers for our nation and her leaders. Help us to be the light that reflects Christ in the way we interact with our fellow citizens, so that many more may know and believe that your sacrifice brings true freedom and everlasting life. In your Son’s name we pray. Amen.
