Can’t wait to see my twin Eric today as we take the Razorwire tour to the men at the Byrd Unit in Huntsville. Please pray for us all, that the Holy Spirit come in with us and bless this service, while reaching the ears that need to hear the music and testimony being brought.

We’re excited to share that The Final Round, our upcoming book, is nearing completion! This project has been a labor of love and faith, crafted to equip believers—new and seasoned alike—with the tools they need to face life’s battles with courage, perseverance, and unwavering trust in God.
In The Final Round, we draw parallels between the spiritual battles we face and the resilience of a boxer in the ring, guided by Scripture and enriched with personal stories and practical applications. We believe this book will serve as an empowering resource for anyone encountering trials and temptations in their walk with Christ.
But we need your help to make it a reality. We’ve partnered with Trilogy Christian Publishing to bring this book to life, but there’s a financial hurdle to overcome. To cover the publishing costs, we’re raising $5,500. Every dollar raised will go directly to ensuring this message of hope and faith reaches as many people as possible.
If this mission resonates with you, would you prayerfully consider donating? You can contribute by visiting our campaign page at https://www.givesendgo.com/finalround.
Your support—whether financial, through prayer, or by sharing this campaign—means the world to us. Together, we can get The Final Round into the hands of those who need it most, spreading the love and hope of Jesus Christ.
Thank you for partnering with us in this endeavor. May God bless you abundantly for your generosity and encouragement

Today, September 18th our volunteer teams went to various units and held church services.

Jimmie Hatchett, Janie Watson and Estella Davis went to the Terrell Expansion Unit in Rosharon. Sixty men were in attendance. Three accepted Jesus Christ as their Savior. The message was of "Hope." The men asked for a copy!
Three men requested Bibles. It was amazing that most came with their Bibles ready to read the scriptures.

Mom V(Laura), Veronica Garcia, Susie Bihn , Brenda Ortix and Mary Goodwin went to the Carole Young Medical Unit and held service there also on the 18th. They had a great turn out and were blessed with a spirit filled service. Thank you ladies.

We had a wonderful service at Clemens TC 2 yesterday. Their small chapel was SRO with 46 men in attendance. The volunteers were Rodney Garrison, Stephanie Everts and me.

Inmate Rayon Dean, their service leader, opened the service with a welcome, opening prayer, and a scripture reading. Their unit band, led by Marco Reyes, played three beautiful songs: Reckless Love, Way Maker and Revelation Song. Then another inmate gave an exhortation on fighting the good fight. We continued worship with Chain Breaker, Graves Into Gardens, Fires, The Edge and Captivate Us.

Rodney Garrison gave a powerful sermon from 2 Cortinthians on our need for salvation. He kept the men grounded in the word ( "You don't have to believe me - here's what the Bible says...") and clinched them with 2 Cor 5:21 using an analogy that when a floor is dirty, you wipe it with a mop and the dirt comes off the floor and is transferred to the mop. When a window is dirty, we get a paper towel, wipe the window and when you look at the paper towel, the dirt is now on that. The effectiveness of his message is evidenced by 13 men giving their lives to Christ and 15 rededicating their lives to Jesus. Stephanie noticed that men had apparently brought friends with them when one particular man raised his hand, accepting Jesus, and the man next to him patted him on the shoulder in support.

Many of them were already aware of the upcoming crusade, expressing excitement over the event. Rayon said that they already have 18 men signed up for baptisms. I spoke with one of the officers as we came in as we had a little wait and mentioned the crusade. She was an officer during one of our crusades (maybe at the Wayne Scott Unit?) and talked about the Hellfighters riding their bikes through the hallways of the unit.

We received 24 PALs, 10 of which requested Bibles. TC 2 is in good hands with Rodney!

We had 155 men attend our service at Stiles yesterday. Mike Watson, Rondey Garrison and Stephanie and I were the volunteers present. We were blessed to have Mike deliver a wonderful exposition of Ephesians chapter 1. One of the many salient points that he made was that Paul was set aside from traveling around to preach, being placed in prison. And it was there that he wrote all of these wonderful letters that we have. Much of our New Testament would likely be missing if Paul hadn't been put in prison. I am certain the men there were able to make the connection that their time in prison can also be a productive time for the Lord's work.

We received 55 PALs, only two of which requested Bibles. Seven men gave their lives to Jesus at the invitation and several came forward for the prayer line afterwards. One man was excited to let me know that when we were there in July he asked for prayers for his mother who was in hospice and dying. Her oxygen levels were severely low and the doctors didn't expect her to live long. However, since the time that he received a JPay about our praying for her, she has recovered significantly. In fact, his sister took her to McDonald's the other day as a treat. Praise God.

Thanks to each and every one of you who spend the precious gift of your time in prayer and responding to these men.

In service to the One who saves,

Bill Everts
