👟 WALK A MILE IN MY SHOES

A good pair of shoes can make a real difference for someone experiencing homelessness. Mary Queen's Social Concerns Ministry is collecting new or gently used men’s shoes for the guests of Our Daily Bread in Galveston through October 19.

Tennis shoes, casual shoes, and slides are especially needed. Please, no dress shoes.

Take a look in your closet, or pick up an extra pair while you’re shopping, and help us put some good shoes on the feet of a neighbor in need. ❤️

Donations may be placed in the Food Pantry collection boxes in the church or Parish Center.

🔥 Men, Christ is calling us to be "Apostles of the New Springtime."🔥

Join the 10th year of Mary Queen's That Man Is You! (TMIY) Adult Faith Formation program beginning tomorrow Wednesday, September 16.

This year's theme, Apostles of the New Springtime, invites us on a journey from the birth of the early Church to the call of Christ that echoes in our own day. From Christ to the Apostles, from the Apostolic Fathers to the men of our time, the voice of God has never fallen silent. Now the call is ours to answer.

For the first time, we are offering both morning and evening sessions to fit your schedule:

📍 Main Hall
🕕 6:00 AM - 7:00 AM
🌙 7:15 PM - 8:15 PM

Come grow in faith, strengthen your family life, and build authentic friendships with other Catholic men. Whether you're joining for the first time or returning after time away, this is the perfect opportunity to jump into fresh content, inspiring speakers, and a renewed commitment to Christ.

Let us become the men we were created to be and help set the world ablaze. May we rise as Apostles of the New Springtime.

✅ Registration is FREE
✅ All men are welcome

✨ Witness Wednesday! ✨

What an incredible beginning to the 2026-2027 OCIA journey at Mary Queen Catholic Church!
Last Thursday, August 27, we welcomed 88 adults to our first "Come and See" evangelization session, making this the largest group of seekers in the history of Mary Queen Catholic Church.
Through prayer, fellowship, and an openness to God's call, these men and women have taken an important step in their faith journey.
Please join us in praying for all those discerning a deeper relationship with Jesus Christ and for our OCIA team that accompanies them along the way.
May our parish continue to be a place where people encounter Christ, experience community, and grow as disciples. 🙏

"Come and see." (John 1:39)
