MY FRIENDS
have been a family of support and love to me.
You know…the ones that don’t expect you to be in a good mood all the time…the ones that will come sit with you and say nothing when you just need comfort…the ones that will call you out when you need to rethink something…the ones that show up when you are mucking out your house and cutting sheetrock!
I have been blessed with such friends. My dear ones that are spoken of in Ecclesiastes ch 6 verses 14-16

Faithful friends are a sturdy shelter: whoever finds one has found a treasure. Faithful friends are beyond price; no amount can balance their worth. Faithful friends are life-saving medicine; and those who fear the Lord find them. NRSV

Thank you friends, for being just like you are. I love you and give thanks for you…especially my Paul.

Recently it was my birthday. I got sincere, heartfelt cards and gifts I really love. However, we know where the biggest gift comes from!

James 4:47 says,
“Every good gift and every perfect gift comes from above.”

Recognize and meditate on how God has abundantly showered gifts on you. Keep His one perfect gift at the forefront of your mind as media in the world tries to steal your time with Jesus.
