St. Philip's Lutheran Church

St. Philip's Lutheran Church Worship is open to everyone to join in fellowship in our Sanctuary. It is also being Live Streamed on our website: Sunday at 9:00 and 10:30 am St.

Philip’s is vibrant and growing, joyfully reaching out with the love and compassion of Jesus. Philip's is a part of the Evangelical Lutheran Church in America (ELCA). It has been served by many dedicated and talented pastors and lay staff members. The vision and mission of the congregation have changed to reflect and serve the needs of the members and the community. The Gospel is our foundation an

d strength. Congregational life is centered in worship, the study of the Word, and continuing to take risks for the Gospel using the variety of gifts that God has given us to reach out in love with sensitivity and boldness.

Ever wonder what goes on behind the scenes at church?

We’re continuing our Behind the Scenes series by highlighting the wonderful people who help make worship happen each week—often quietly, faithfully, and without much attention.

💻 This week’s spotlight: Nora 💻

If you've ever followed along with the hymns, prayers, Scripture readings, or announcements on the screens during worship, you have volunteers like Nora to thank.

Each week, Nora, or another of our wonderful volunteers, helps advance the slideshow during worship, making sure the right words and images appear at just the right time. It may seem like a simple task, but it takes focus, attentiveness, and a willingness to serve behind the scenes so that others can fully participate in worship.

Volunteers like Nora help create a smooth and welcoming worship experience for everyone. Her faithful service is one of the many ways God's work happens through the gifts of our congregation members.

Thank you, Nora, for sharing your time and talents with St. Philip's. We are grateful for all you do! 💙

Stay tuned as we continue our Behind the Scenes series and introduce you to more of the amazing people who help make St. Philip's such a special place.
