We regret to inform you that in response to the situation surrounding the Corona Virus, Women's ministry has made the difficult decision to postpone both the Coffee Talk on Monday and the Women's Retreat at the end of the month. For those of you that have already registered and paid, you will be refunded your money next week. As soon as we have new dates, we will make sure to inform you. In the meantime, please be praying for our leaders and our church families as we navigate through these interesting times. Just remember, God is still on the throne and nothing takes Him by surprise! We serve a mighty God!

I have the incredible honor of preaching this coming Sunday; I am humbled and honored how God will use the "unlikely" to share His word! I treasure your prayers as I prepare the message... "FEARLESS" Eph 6:10 (an ironic message since I'm afraid of my shadow, LOL!) Hope to see you at Valley Friends Church in Clovis, 9:00 or 11:00!! God is good...AND has a great sense of humor! :-)

Do you have a friend, coworker, or family member who’s walking through a difficult and isolating valley? Sister, you can be the one God uses to strengthen this valley-walking woman in your life.

The Latin root for the word “fort” in comfort means “strong.” When we comfort others, it is as if God uses us to help turn the weak and broken pieces in someone’s life into a fortress of God’s strength once again. So, if you know someone who is grieving, pray Scripture over her and, most of all, be there. Your presence will bring her strength and comfort.
