Are you in the middle of a crisis in your life? Or maybe just come through some very difficult things in your life? The simple reality is everyone is in the middle of a crisis, they have just come out of one, or their crisis is lurking around the next corner. There are no other kinds of people in the world.
John Mark was firsthand witness to the persecutions of Rome under Nero. He watched as Christians were killed and others driven underground into the catacombs in fear of their lives. His goal in writing was to encourage those going through challenging times and remind them of the promises and the sufferings of Jesus. Mark 10:45 is the key verse for understanding the Gospel of Mark. It focuses on the purpose of the entire book and is the thesis statement upon which everything else is said. Join us Sunday as we begin out journey through the Gospel of Mark and encounter the Story of the Storytellers.

Join Pastor Dave for a 13-week study in assurance of salvation and the basic daily disciplines of Christian living that are evident in the life of those who have made such a profession. The study is for new and growing Christians and begins on Sunday August 30 at 6:00pm.

lemon all week? Why are they so unhappy, discouraged, anxious, frustrated, and depressed? The answer is because they have no fellowship with Father God. There is an interesting exchange between Jesus and Peter in John 13:8. Peter said, “Never shall You wash my feet!” Jesus answered him, “If I do not wash you, you have no part with Me.” Jesus is not talking about salvation, but what is he referring to? Join us Sunday as we explore the love of Jesus, the need of Man, and illustration Jesus provides.

Could not have done VBS without our amazing volunteers who stepped up, put in long days of planning, decorating, studying, & practicing. It’s a long, tiring, wonderful, & rewarding week! We were fortunate enough to pass on our decorations & materials to another church in our area. Please join us in prayer for the Hmong Baptist Church & Freedom Community Church as their volunteers prepare to shine the light of Jesus in their area.

Join us today from 11am-2pm to kick off our VBS: Hotdogs, Chili, bounce houses. You'll also have an opportunity to pre-register for VBS that starts Monday evening.
