This week's An Encouraging Word:

This week’s scripture is from John:
“Greater love has no one than this, that one lay down his life for his friends.” (John 15:13)

Let us remember the one who gave his life for us. For God so loved us that He sent His only son to sacrifice his life for us. Jesus came and lived among us to show us God’s love. And when the time came, Jesus willingly went to the cross, suffered, bled, and died for our sins that we might be forgiven and reconciled to God. Our Lord Jesus Christ gave up His life for us that we might have eternal life through Him and his sacrifice. Let us give him glory who gave his life that we might live and know God. For there is no greater love than that one give up their life for another. Let us praise God and give Him glory.

May you ever remember the Lord’s sacrifice for us.

This week's scripture is from Acts:
"And they were all filled with the Holy Spirit ..." (Acts 2:4a)

Praise the Lord for His blessings! Praise the Lord for His promises! Praise the Lord for His faithfulness! Rejoice! For as He promised, the Father sent the Holy Spirit to dwell within all who believe and are baptized in the name of Jesus Christ our Lord for the forgiveness of their sins. He is come to be helper and counselor, the Spirit of Truth from the One who is the Truth, to teach us all things and remind us of the words of the Lord, the words of life, and to testify to the truth, to testify that Jesus Christ is Lord and Savior. Sing His praises. Embrace the Holy Spirit and be glad, for He cares for you. Praise be to God.

May the mighty Holy Spirit be a blessing to you today.

This week's scripture is from Psalms:

"I will praise the Lord, who counsels me;
even at night my heart instructs me.
I keep my eyes always on the Lord." (Psalm 16:7-8a)

Let us rededicate ourselves to the Lord. Let us renew our vow to turn from our ways and follow His ways. Let us remember to seek fellowship with the Lord, to come to that quiet place of the heart where we can commune with Him and hear His voice, for He is also our Counselor; He is ever faithful and His counsel is always true. Let us now rededicate ourselves to seeking and following the counsel of the Lord in our lives; let us not fail to fellowship with Him who loves us and is true, who speaks to us in the hour of joy and in the hour of need. Come into fellowship with the Lord and let Him have fellowship with you. Praise Him and bless His holy name. Listen to His heart. Come into His presence and bow down. Rededicate your heart and mind to following the Lord.

May the Lord bless you and draw you near as you seek His heart each day.

This week's An Encouraging Word:

This week's scripture is from Psalms:
“For you created my inmost being;
you knit me together in my mother’s womb.
I praise you because I am fearfully and wonderfully made;
your works are wonderful,
I know that full well.” (Psalm 139:13-14 ESV)

Who knows you better than you know yourself? Who knows when you rise and when you rest? Who is the one who knows everything about you from before you were born to your place in eternity? Who holds the number of your days in His hands? The Lord says He knew you and He formed you; He was with you before you entered the world. You are meant to be His; you are meant to belong to Him. Praise the Lord and lift up His name. You are a miracle of God; you are a child of the Most High. Stand in the glory of His grace; give thanks and bless His holy name. His hand is upon you; trust in Him.

May the blessings and wonder of the Lord's grace and goodness light your way.

This week's An Encouraging Word:

This week's scripture is from Psalms:
"May your unfailing love be with us, LORD,
even as we put our hope in you." (Psalm 33:22)

Let us face each day with hope, with hope in our Lord, confident in His love for us. Let us put our hope and trust in Him, for the things of this world are ever-shifting as waves tossed on the sea. Too often trust is fleeting and hope is a wish unfulfilled, but with the Lord we are sure of trust and confident in hope for His everlasting love is our rock and our salvation. The Lord and the Lord alone will not fail us, for He promises to never fail us or forsake us, and He never does, for His love is true; His mercies are new each morning. We can place our hope in Him and He will be true to His word. Let us trust in His unfailing love.

May the Lord bless you with hope in His unfailing love for you.

This week's An Encouraging Word:
This week's scripture is from Psalms:

"Surely goodness and mercy shall follow me
All the days of my life;
And I will dwell in the house of the LORD
Forever." (Psalm 23:6)

When you belong to the Lord, all that He has belongs to you. When you abide in Him, He watches over you; He guides you; He directs your steps; He walks with you through all adversity; He comforts you in times of suffering; He protects you from evil; He restores your soul. His goodness and His mercy are never far from us, and the greatest goodness and the greatest mercy the Lord has given us is His son Jesus Christ, from whom we have received salvation and life eternal, and who has gone to prepare a place for us where we will dwell with the Lord forever. Praise God for His goodness and mercy.

May the Lord extend His goodness and mercy to you each and every day.

This week's An Encouraging Word:

This week's scripture is from Matthew:
Then Jesus said to His disciples, “If anyone desires to come after Me, let him deny himself, and take up his cross, and follow Me." (Matt. 16:24)

When Jesus called forth His disciples they were to turn away from self and their own desires, leave their old life behind, and commit themselves completely to Him, no turning back, but to follow His ways which lead to service in the Kingdom of God and to eternal life. So if we mean to follow Him, yet we fall back on our old ways or our old life; or if we take up our old habits or revisit our old sins or dwell on our old failings, then we are not following the Lord. To follow Him we must keep our eyes on Jesus, for the old has passed away and we are not what we were. If we intend to follow, then we must let Him lead us. If He is not leading us in every aspect of our life, then we are not following. We must look to Christ if we are to follow Him, and we need to follow where He leads and not slip back into our old ways. The Lord loves us and He knows what is best for us and if we trust Him and follow Him our life will be blessed.

May you surrender yourself anew each day to Christ and let Him lead you.

This week's An Encouraging Word:

This week’s scriptures are from Psalms and 1 Corinthians:
“Behold, how good and how pleasant it is
For brethren to dwell together in unity!” (Psalm 133:1)

“…Whenever you come together, each of you has a psalm, has a teaching, has a tongue, has a revelation, has an interpretation. Let all things be done for edification.” (1 Cor. 14:26)

How beautiful it is and how blessed we are when brothers and sisters in Christ gather together in the unity of the Holy Spirit to worship our Lord and to give Him praise. How we also bless and strengthen each other by bringing and sharing what God has given us to uplift and to enlighten each other through the gifts of the Holy Spirit. How wonderfully the goodness and blessings of God, richly poured out, one to another. How good it is, how blessed we are, for God is good. Let us praise and worship Him together.

May the Lord bless you to be united in the Holy Spirit with your brothers and sisters in Christ.

This week's An Encouraging Word:

This week’s scripture is from Matthew:
But the angel answered and said to the women, “Do not be afraid, for I know that you seek Jesus who was crucified. He is not here; for He is risen, [just] as He said.” (Matthew 28:5-6)

Hallelujah! He is risen, He is risen, He is risen! Thank God, thank God, thank God Almighty. Jesus Christ is risen; He is alive. He sacrificed Himself that we might be reconciled to God our Father, that we might know Him and the mercy of His grace, for He is the Holy One, the Son of God. He sealed the new covenant in His blood that we might have the forgiveness of our sins, that we might have salvation and eternal life. Thank you, Lord Jesus. How blessed we are to know His love and the beauty of His grace.

May the blessings of the Lord's sacrifice strengthen you as you follow in His ways.

This week's An Encouraging Word:
This week's scripture is from Mark:

"Then they brought the c**t to Jesus and threw their clothes on it, and He sat on it. And many spread their clothes on the road, and others cut down leafy branches from the [palm] trees and spread them on the road. Then those who went before and those who followed cried out, saying:

“Hosanna!
‘Blessed is He who comes in the name of the LORD!’
Blessed is the kingdom of our father David
That comes in the name of the Lord!
Hosanna in the highest!” (Mark 11:7-10 NKJV)

Praise the Lord! The Lord is come. Blessed be His name. Raise your voice! Shout Hallelujah! He is come! He is come! He is come! The Prince of Peace, the Lord of Salvation, the Lord of Lords, He is come and we are blessed. Glory to God in the Highest! Sing! Shout! Praise His holy name. The Lord reigns! The Lord reigns! Here is the Lord of Glory, the Holy One, the Son of God. Rejoice you saints. Raise your voice; raise your hands; lift your hearts. Praise the Lord! The Lord is come! The Lord is come! The Lord is come! Blessed be His name! Praise the Lord! Hallelujah! Hallelujah! Hallelujah! Amen.

May the blessing of the coming of the Lord fill your heart with joy.
