New Life For Girls is a non-profit, non-denominational residential Christian discipleship program. We are fully committed to meeting the emotional, physical, spiritual and academic needs of women, ages 18 & up. Phase I (San Joaquin Valley New Life For Girls) - occurs in a small, home-type setting called an Introduction Center and lasts from 3-5 months depending on the needs of the individual. He
re she immediately begins Bible classes, attends church, and performs routine chores, while receiving the maximum amount of personal attention and guidance from staff members. Phase II - located at the Training Center in Dover, Pa., on a 27 acre property with a dormitory constructed in the shape of a cross. The dormitory can currently facilitate 60 women. Construction is in progress to accommodate 30 more. During this phase, emphasis is focused on learning how to successfully
re-enter society and involves extensive counseling, self-discipline, academic, vocational and work ethics training. GED prep courses, computer skills training, and the opportunity to achieve an Associates Degree in Biblical Studies from the International School of Ministry are available to all of our ladies. During the second phase of our program the women are called to a higher level of practical Christian living and witness. Phase III - Re-Entry and Observation is the final phase of the program during which the women are permitted to train in a junior staff capacity. During this phase assistance is offered in helping them make decisions regarding their future plans which may include college, choosing the right church, job placement and reuniting with family.
