Resolution of Recognition and Appointment

WHEREAS, the United Christian Church in Fresno has been fortunate to have the dedicated service and loyal support of Eddie Lou Kester for many years, and

WHEREAS, during those years she has been an example of grace and hospitality, and

WHEREAS, she has served as an elder of United Christian Church fulfilling the highest ideal of Christian ministry, and

WHEREAS, it is the desire of the ministry council of United Christian Church to recognize the years of ministry, loyalty of service and grace and hospitality,

NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED , that Eddie Lou Kester be appointed Elder Emeritus of United Christian Church.

BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED, that this appointment be for the remainder of her natural life, and

BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED, that Eddie Lou Kester be afforded all the rights, privileges and honor appertaining to this appointment in perpetuity.
