The Shepherd's House of Fresno

The Shepherd's House of Fresno We are a new ministry in Fresno that seeks to serve the needs of the forgotten and disadvantaged in our community. We welcome everyone without judgment.

We are a new ministry in Fresno that seeks to serve the needs of the forgotten and disadvantaged in South Central Fresno. We are a multi-ethnic, multi-socioeconomic Christian community of believers where anyone can come as he or she is. Our at home gatherings are friendly and casual. We meet on Sunday afternoons at 12:30pm. We start with a meal and conversation then have some music and a time of s

haring. Everyone is welcome at the table! For more information, please email us or send us a message!

Praise the Lord! A couple that is part of our ministry team, has been asked to start an outreach for their church. They will be leaving our Fresno outreach to begin their outreach in Kerman. March will be their last time serving in Fresno! Wade and Jennie, we are so excited about this new journey you will embark on. You'll be missed in Fresno. The important thing is that the ministry is spreading and you are being obedient to God.

It's that time of year again. Christmas will be here soon. I will be collecting backpacks with toiletries, socks, beanies, gloves, or anything you would like to bless the homeless that The Shepherd's House of Fresno ministers to. Mostly men's things. Add your own special touch to this. Let me know if you can help so I can make sure we have enough for everyone. Our ministry is growing and we should plan on approximately 30. Thanks for your help in bringing something special to those people find unloveable. Remember, they are someone's loved one.

Today, at the park, The Shepherd's House of Fresno, had a great turnout. One of our friends, Kenny, who got housed, came for a visit. I made a large pot of Ratatouille and it was a hit. I had planned to give a message, but this morning, God changed it. I asked who there, feels that they are unlovable. A newly homeless female, Lisa, said she felt unlovable because she's homeless. The idea that no one has taken her in, makes her feel unlovable. We talked about how just because people don't invite her in doesn't make her unlovable. People may not be in a place where they can do that. I provided her with some possible resources and let her know that God finds her to die for. I shared some scripture with her out of Romans. I was able to pray for her. Please keep Lisa in your prayers.
