The Honor Quilt Ministry was formed in June of 2007 by a group of ladies from Northside Christian Church in Clovis, California after hearing we had lost a 4th soldier during May of 2007. As mothers, our hearts were grieving for the families of our Fallen Heroes. We wanted to show Honor and Respect to the families of our Fallen Heroes by giving them a quilt. Our quilts resemble the American Flag: O

ur symbol of freedom. Each of our Heroes made a commitment to serve and protect the freedoms and liberties of our nation and that of others. We delivered our first quilt to a Gold Star Family in Coalinga in August 2007. Then in November 2009 we expanded to include honoring our Returning Wounded Heroes. Each and every sacrifice, will forever remain in our hearts. Our area of outreach encompasses the Central San Joaquin Valley and our focus: Heroes having served during the Iraq and Afghanistan Wars. We created albums, our Honor Books, that record our Heroes and their quilts. These can be viewed at the Fresno Veteran's Memorial Museum "Home of the Legion of Valor." These books are one way for others to remember all of our Heroes. Interest in connecting us to a Gold Star Family, a Returning Hero, or making a donation can be directed to:
