First Congregational Church of Fresno, affectionately known as The Big Red Church, United Church of Christ, is an Open and Affirming congregation, with strong ecumenical and interfaith ties, through whom God Is Still Speaking today. No matter who you are, or where you are in life's journey, you are welcome here! We have been in ministry in Fresno since 1883, but we believe that God is still singing, and we are all part of the song!

Better together! 🤝

We are so grateful for our recent Together We Thrive In The Tower campaign, which raised over $10,625 to directly support our local community! This amount is used to support community efforts from Hamilton K-8 School, The Big Red Church (pantry + feeding the unhoused), and Neighborhood Industries!

We were thrilled to present Dinora from Hamilton K-8 School with a check for $3,041.50 to help support their amazing work for students. Thank you to everyone who gave, supported, and showed up to make this impact possible!
