I wanted to share with you the sinners prayer and the biblical basis of why we believe in leading people to this prayer, no it does not stop there but it is the begining of old things passing away and all things becoming new,
Romans 10:9-10 Amplified Bible (AMP)
9 because if you acknowledge and confess with your mouth that Jesus is Lord [recognizing His power, authority, and majesty as God], and believe in your heart that God raised Him from the dead, you will be saved. 10 For with the heart a person believes [in Christ as Savior] resulting in his justification [that is, being made righteous—being freed of the guilt of sin and made acceptable to God]; and with the mouth he acknowledges and confesses [his faith openly], resulting in and confirming [his] salvation.
DEAR JESUS, I COME TO YOU TODAY(James 4:8 New King James Version (NKJV)8 Draw near to God and He will draw near to you. Cleanse your hands, you sinners; and purify your hearts, you double-minded.)
A SINNER (1 John 1:8 Amplified Bible (AMP)
8 If we say we have no sin [refusing to admit that we are sinners], we delude ourselves and the truth is not in us. [His word does not live in our hearts.]
, ASKING GOD PLEASE FORGIVE ME AND
COME INTO MY HEART Psalm 51:10 Amplified Bible (AMP)10 Create in me a clean heart, O God,
And renew a right and steadfast spirit within me.
, COME INTO MY LIFE,( Revelation 3:20 Amplified Bible (AMP)20 Behold, I stand at the door [of the church] and continually knock. If anyone hears My voice and opens the door, I will come in and eat with him (restore him), and he with Me.)
AND CHANGE ME Psalm 51:2 Amplified Bible (AMP)
2 Wash me thoroughly from my wickedness and guilt
And cleanse me from my sin.
THANK YOU JESUS FOR DYING ON THE CROSS AND RISING AGAIN ON THE 3RD DAY SO THAT I WOULD HAVE ETERNAL LIFE John 3:16 Amplified Bible (AMP)
16 “For God so [greatly] loved and dearly prized the world, that He [even] gave His [One and] [a]only begotten Son, so that whoever believes and trusts in Him [as Savior] shall not perish, but have eternal life.
