Good morning! May the grace and peace of God the Father and our Lord Jesus Christ be with you.

Throughout the Old Testament, God’s chosen people continually strayed from God’s word and were chastened by the Lord for their disobedience. Then would come brief periods of time when the people would repent. They would return to the Lord, be observant of his commandments and God would bless them mightily in His love and benevolence.

The prophet Malachi informed the people that the Lord would send His messenger to clear the way before Him and “the Lord, whom they sought would suddenly come to His temple.”

This was written 400 years before John the Baptist appeared to prepare people’s hearts for the arrival of Christ.

We are blessed to be living on this side of the cross, partakers of the new covenant sealed with the blood of Jesus, the worthy Lamb of God.

We need to be constantly on guard and wary of falling into idolatry. Love of material goods, the pursuit of entertainments, and all lusts of bodily pleasures and searches for fame that do not bring glory to the Lord are an abomination in the sight of God.

God’s Holy word contains all the wisdom and instructions that anyone can ever need. Its truth is so deep that no scholar can ever know all its riches, yet even a child can come and sip its goodness and delight.

Share this eternal treasure with your children, your families and neighbors, it is written “your world is a lamp to my feet and a light to my path”.

We are to be a light in this dark and fallen world as followers of Jesus Christ, glory to Him and the Father that the light of His truth is eternal. Amen.

The members of EPBC would like to thank all that attended the “March for Truth” rally. The worship service, preaching, and special music proved a credit to our Lord and Savior. The guest Pastors, (pictured here with Pastor Harris), along with their families and members traveled many miles to be of service to the Lord and our church. The preaching and special music was a blessing to all of us and we pray, our Lord.
Pastor Harris wishes to recognize and thank the members of our small congregation for their efforts both during the rally as well as behind the scene.
If you were unable to attend the March for Truth rally of if you would like to listen to the messages and music again, the recordings are available on our web site at www.eastprincetonbaptist.org.

The family of our Lord at East Princeton Baptist Church would like to invite you and your family to consider joining for a very special day here at our church for wonderful preaching, fellowship and to break bread with us on Saturday, March 17 for our March for Truth.
Our Pastor and his wife joined us from Salinas one year ago and he is calling on his 50 plus years in the ministry to organize this special event. A number of Pastors from all over the state will be present and preaching unique messages to encourage and inspire us to grow closer to our Lord and Savior.
Please see our flyer for details and we pray that you can fit this wonderful day into your busy schedules. We at East Princeton very much look forward to meeting you and the opportunity to serve you on this inspiring day.

More work done here on our church grounds…the parsonage has been way over due and in desperate need of paint. Brother Mike finished painting the parsonage yesterday and I think it looks amazing! We are grateful for his hard work and our members supporting long overdue maintenance by contributing their time, sweat and treasure. Love you all!

I’ve been very remiss with sharing some wonderful news regarding our long search for a new pastor; hard to believe that it has already been five months since brother DeWayne Harris accepted our call to pastor our church. He is pictured here with his wonderful wife Dianna. Elder Harris has been in the ministry for fifty plus years. To date he has performed a wonderful job leading our church.

Pastor Harris and the rest of our church family would love to have you visit and worship with is real soon. May the Lord bless.

Two hungry, frightened and lonely neighborhood dogs which appear to be littermates have adopted our church. Named Dusty and Pixy by yours truly are now drown in love and attention by the whole congregation and are now nice and fat thanks to Jami. If you are looking for puppy, they are available for adoption but you have to take them both, they would be lost if they were ever separated.

Matthew 18:20
For where two or three are gathered together in my name, there am I in the midst of them.

Seems like yesterday that there were two or three at the Church’s Wednesday night Bible study, last week we were blessed by having to pull five tables together to seat all those present. Last week’s Sunday school was nearly standing room only!
