Our Vision at Bread of Life Church is to see a local church family that desires the Kingdom of God to come to earth as it is in heaven. This would be lived out through passionately worshipping God and truly loving one another. We desire to live in the presence and power of God and to walk out authentic Christianity as it is revealed in the Book of Acts.

WHAT JESUS DOES THE MOMENT SOMEONE MEETS HIM

Every time somebody meets Jesus, He does this same thing. He will bring your shame into the light without shaming you, and then He offers you change through Himself, the only way you'll ever be free.

Maybe you've had one of those moments, weeping at an altar. That's the shame of everything you've carried being brought into the light, and God saying, "I still love you. I still love you."

God will say things like, "You are wrong. You're ignorant. You don't know what you're talking about. You've been rebellious. You've been outside My will. But you're here now. Let me offer you the living water."

We encounter Him this way again and again and again, long past the first time. But that first moment, that first moment is like coming out of water for the first time and breathing.

THREE GROANS THAT ARE SECRETLY GOOD NEWS

Creation groans, in anticipation for us. All that aching you notice in the world around you is the sound of something waiting to arrive.

Something similar happens in us. As we step into what we're supposed to do, willfully go to this place of suffering, we groan too.

God's Spirit who lives in us groans within us. You are a temple of God, and the ache you're carrying has His voice inside it.

You are different than the temple that the Jews used to have, because you have legs. The world doesn't come to the temple anymore. We step out into the world, right into the very darkest place of it.

From that dark place, the Spirit cries out for us, and the Father who searches all hearts will hear the cry. That's how the world gets reconciled. That's how Heaven and earth become one.

PREACH IN EVERY SEASON, EVEN THE COSTLY ONES

Paul handed Timothy the assignment in 2 Timothy 4:2: "Preach the Word; be ready in season and out of season." Seasons happen around you, never inside you. So when the gospel is unpopular, you preach the Word.

Acceptance changes nothing. When the message lands well and people receive it gladly, you preach the Word.

Rejection carries the same instruction. When the gospel is rejected violently, you preach the Word.

Convenience makes it easy. Cost is where it gets tested: time, money, treasure, jobs. You preach the Word there too, because the Word does more than comfort.

Steady people say the same true thing in every forecast. The season sets the price, and you keep speaking anyway. So when it's your turn and the price is high, will you still say it?
