It’s been a busy few weeks for CSBDR!

We recently had the privilege of partnering with the Masters of Social Work program at California Baptist University to give students a glimpse into the work California Southern Baptist Disaster Relief provides to individuals and communities affected by disaster. During their time, students experienced portions of our chaplaincy training and participated in a hands-on introduction to personal property recovery.

We also had volunteers serving in Auberry, California, during the Firewise Community Festival, where they shared resources and information about how we support those impacted by wildfires.

Meanwhile, our team continues to serve in Oahu, Hawaii, assisting communities recovering from the floods earlier this year.

Each day, we are deeply grateful for the men and women who say “yes” to being the hands and feet of Jesus across California, throughout the United States, and around the world. This ministry would not be possible without their faithful service!
