Our focus last Sunday was creation care.

There was strong affirmation for continued work on creation care in the global church. The Executive Committee approved by consensus a proposal for the Creation Care Task Force to become a permanent part of the MWC structure under the name Creation Care Working Group. The Task Force had been created to explore what creation care means for MWC; the Working Group will continue to promote faithful creation stewardship in MWC’s operations and among its members. The Creation Care Working Group (CCWG) will work alongside and meet with the four Commissions. In the spirit of reducing the high environmental cost of flying, CCWG will only meet in person during General Council and Assembly years.

It was over a year ago that an errant driver took out our sign. The new one welcomes you. The sign company randomly added 15 minutes to the times, and the brick pillars are yet to come, but it's nice to have it back.
