Street Drugs are more than just a substance or a liquid. The word actually derives from pharmakia in greek and its definition is sorcery. Its power is very luring and seductive and cannot be broken by one's will power to escape alone. Freedom is found in surrender and renonciation and a power greater than yourself. 🎚️

Happy New year y'all! 2026! Let's see what might be in store for us! I can't help but feel and think that exciting times are ahead and for that I am eternally grateful to the one who gave his life for me.

This is a little piece that a friend of mine drew and its content reminds me of a certain individual caught up in the throes of addition. The pain, confusion, and darkness of such a life can leave one feeling trapped and imprisoned.

You see, my friend, addiction is just a symptom of a greater emotional malady. It's quite possible to be under the influence without having touched a drug in your life! Oh yes!

One can be drunk on anger, hatred, bitterness, resentment and unforgiveness. Holding onto these things might give a person a sense of being empowered at first but over time these things will leave you with a gapping hole in your soul that will leave you feeling empty and lonely.

Those chains mentioned above can be broken! There is hope! You only need to ask and reach out and be willing to relinquish. 🗝️
