Hey, friend! We’re so excited to have you join us for our Spring 2024 Lead Loved Prayer Group starting today at noon PT! You can still sign up if you’d like to join! DM us for the link.

We’ll be using the book The Prayer Powered Entrepreneur: 31 Days to Building Your Business with Less Stress and More Joy, by Kim Avery as a guide. You don’t have to purchase a physical or digital* copy of the book, but it’s a great resource and we do recommend it! (Note: you may not consider yourself to be an “entrepreneur” and that’s okay! The prayers and concepts in the book are applicable to any leader!) (*the ebook has to be purchased through a Kindle app or a computer - not the Amazon app.)

If you don’t purchase the physical book, bring a journal or notebook so you can write down your prayers.

The Plan:
We really hope to spend a majority of our time praying - not just talking about prayer. Each week we’ll take a few minutes to reflect and share a little about the prior week (or the intro of the book this first time). Then Marcy Pusey and Melissa Ens will share some short excerpts from the upcoming week’s prayers and we’ll take time to pause, be still, and let the Holy Spirit show us how to pray. We’ll pray for each other, too.

About last night…

Lead Loved started in 2015 with a vision for gathering Christian women leaders from Central California. first stepped out to bring these women together. Eight years later we have grown and changed to include leaders around the world, but we are still coming together under that original vision.

Last night we gathered at a local restaurant, Wayside Noodles, for Asian fusion food and meaningful conversation. The women who showed up lead in schools, churches, businesses, non-profits, and their homes. The diversity and energy around the table was a true gift. We are better together! Our heart is to gather, equip, and provide rest for women in community.

Hello Friends, Earlier this year, the Lord was pressing upon my (Mari) heart to "release and receive". It's hard for me to release things I enjoy doing.
👉I'm learning to trust Him with those things I hold tightly.
👉I'm learning that when I've emptied my hands I make room for Him and for what He has for me.
👉I'm learning that a "no", can simply mean "not now".

Well, this brings me to my announcement. One of the good things God was asking me to release was my internship with Lead Loved. I've been involved in various aspects of Lead Loved but most consistently it has been posting on our social media platforms. I have thoroughly enjoyed my time working with the Lead Loved team and my time with Dorina but I'm also excited to receive more of Him in this next season.

I leave you with one of my favorite verses, in Isaiah 43. I've read this passage countless times but one day the words "fear not" popped out at me in verse 1.

This bold command is found at the beginning of this passage. God is calling us to "fear not". Though this verse is addressing the Israelites we can also take hold of this verse because it applies to us as God's children.

So, wherever, the Lord may take you on this journey of "releasing and receiving" remember you have nothing to fear because He has redeemed you, He has called you by name, you are His.

It's a good question, right? We appreciate Dr. Saundra Dalton-Smith asking this question in her book, Sacred Rest.
