Special Announcement and Double Dare! Advent Adventure .
hear ye: Be Expectant !
As some of you know, every Christmas season since 1997, we (our church and previous churches) , have hosted something uniquely unique and transforming.
It has happened in many forms and formats .
It will happen again this Sunday, December 14 . Though we have some idea of the contours of the Adventure and what will be said and done, we always have no idea how the Holy Spirit will apply it.. and what we might expectantly expect. Far beyond what we can ask or imagine " (Ephesians 3:20).
We have done it in different locations and settings. We did it in Lambare , Paraguay, where the altar call was overfilled with expectancy
One year it even led to us almost being in the Guinness Book of World Records.. Seriously
We will do it with you amazing saints at 10:10 am this Sunday at the beautiful home of St. Elona, 315 W. San Bruno ( near Shaw and Maroa),93704
Clues? You may want to read the classic. Christmas scripture expectantly (that e word is the biggest clue): Luke 1::26-38 . Maybe google and guess from the Jack Hayford (beloved Foursquare pastor of Church on the Way in Van Nuys) book "The Mary Miracle " .. title later changed to "The Christmas Miracle"
O come all ye faithful .. and unfaithful .
