Today we said goodbye to 9 amazing missionaries. But they aren’t going “back” home. They’re going “forward” home! They are forever changed by their mission experience. And so are the many people they served and taught! It is our favorite thing to have departing interviews and conversations about the lessons they’ve learned, the relationships they’ve built, and the ways their faith in Jesus Christ and His Atonement have been strengthened. Thank you Elders & Sisters for all you’ve taught us by your examples. We love you and will miss you so much!

Zone Conference Week! The past three days have been so fulfilling and edifying. We loved being able to see every single missionary in three days! In our zone conferences we learned about Christlike attributes, Christlike listening, welcoming new converts into the church, seeking and relying on the Spirit, teaching from the scriptures, finding and following up using the PMG app, finding with our missionary purpose, and more. We love our missionaries! (I posted loads of pictures so hopefully you can find your Elder or Sister in a picture)! 😁❤️🫶🏼

Last week we had our last mission leader seminar. We got to learn from Elder Neil L. Andersen and our Area Presidency. We reconnected with our mission leader friends and it was so joyful to share experiences and faith. And it was in a beautiful part of our US West Area, in the Columbia River gorge. We were excited to get back to our kids and our missionaries in Fresno and share what we learned!

Some of our missionaries were able to help unload a truckload of food donated by the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints to Catholic Charities to help local citizens in the Fresno communities. So fun to see them helping and connecting in the community! Thanks Travis Cluff for the behind the scenes look!! 🙏🏼

MLC 4.17.26 plus some extra fun with a few visits from some of our returned missionaries.

It was a beautiful meeting with our mission leadership council yesterday. We talked about teaching from the scriptures, Christlike listening, exchanges, and counseled about how we can help our mission become more converted to the Savior and His gospel. It is always so inspiring to meet with these young missionary leaders and learn from them.

Welcome to Fresno Elders & Sisters!! We welcomed 6 new missionaries on Wednesday, April 8th. They are excited to get to work sharing the gospel of Jesus Christ!! We love their humility and willingness to learn and share. It’s honestly so inspiring to see these young people put their lives on hold and volunteer to serve wherever they are called, all because of their love of the Savior and His gospel. ❤️❤️

This transfer we said goodbye to some seriously amazing elders and sisters! They have been such a blessing in the California Fresno Mission! Their faith in Jesus Christ, their commitment to living and sharing His good news has helped so many learn of Him and grow their relationship with Him. We will miss you dearly elders and sisters. Keep being a light and helping others find peace and hope in the gospel of Jesus Christ. This is only the beginning. ❤️

Zone conference is always a highlight of the transfer because w we get to see ALL of our missionaries in 3 days! We gather together to learn about Jesus Christ and how we can strengthen our faith in Him. And then we learn how to be more effective, spiritually strong missionaries. The missionaries always share profound insights and powerful testimonies. Here are some pictures from zone conferences, and a few from our p-day hike in Yosemite. 😁❤️
