BE ON GUARD | Men’s Conference
____________

OCTOBER 16–17
Friday Night + All Day Saturday
$85 per man
____________

We are living in an age of compromise, distorted truth, and shaky foundations. Temptation is everywhere, therefore passivity is unacceptable.

This is not the time for men to let their guard down.

God has called men to be watchful, to stand firm in the truth, guard what He has entrusted to us, and faithfully lead in the places He has called us.

Be on guard in your home.
Be on guard in the church.
Be on guard in your private life.
Be on guard against temptation.
Be on guard in a culture that is constantly pulling you away from truth.

Join men from The Word Community Church, Ekklesia, and The Pardoned Church for a weekend dedicated to becoming men who are alert, vigilant, disciplined, and ready to stand.

Come ready for worship, biblical teaching, practical breakout sessions, good food, brotherhood, competition, and time with other men who want to take their faith seriously.

____________

OCTOBER 16–17 (Friday Night + All Day Saturday)

Friday evening begins with dinner, worship, teaching, and fellowship.

Saturday continues with breakfast, worship, keynote sessions, practical breakouts, activities, meals, and plenty of time together.

Registration includes the full conference experience and all meals.

Stay awake. Stand firm. Be strong. BE ON GUARD.

For the ones who arrive early and the ones who stay late. The ones who set up, tear down, teach our kids, make the food, run the sound, lead us in worship, welcome people at the door, serve food, run slides, capture photos and video, help tell the story of what God is doing, lead groups, disciple others, serve our city — and do a hundred other things most people may never see.

So much of the life of our church happens because ordinary people are willing to say, “I’ll serve.”

Not for recognition. Not because a position needed to be filled. But because the Church is a body, and every part has a place.

Church isn’t something we attend. It’s a family we belong to.

We are deeply grateful for every person who has taken ownership in the life and mission of Ekklesia and faithfully uses what God has given them to serve others.

And if you’ve been wondering where your place might be, tomorrow is a great place to start.

MINISTRY FAIR — TOMORROW AFTER SERVICE

Come meet the different ministries and teams at Ekklesia, learn what they do, ask questions, and discover some of the ways you can get involved — from our Sunday experience to groups, discipleship, outreach, and ministry beyond Sunday.

There’s no pressure to commit to anything. Come have a conversation, learn what’s available, and find your next step.

There are a thousand reasons people stay away from church.

Maybe you’ve been hurt by it.
Maybe you’ve been disappointed by people who claimed to know Jesus.
Maybe you feel like you need to get your life together first.
Maybe it’s just been a long time.

But the invitation was never to have it all together.

It was to come.

Come with your questions.
Come with your doubts.
Come tired.
Come carrying things no one else knows about.

Because at the center of our gathering isn’t a perfect group of people.

It’s a cross.

And on that cross, Jesus made a way for broken people to be reconciled to a holy God.

If you’ve ever thought about coming to church, maybe tomorrow is the day you stop thinking about it and simply come.

There’s a seat for you.

If we expect the Lord to speak, we should expect to spend time listening.

We often wonder why God isn’t speaking while neglecting the solitude and prayer necessary to hear from Him.

Paul’s journey in Acts 21 reminds us that discerning the Lord’s will requires us to listen, test what we hear, and be willing to obey even when obedience comes at a cost.

Prioritize meeting with the Lord in the secret place.

Expect Him to speak.

Follow along as we continue our study in the Book of Acts.

Join us every Sunday @1:30PM

One invite can change someone’s eternity.

Last week, we witnessed the profound beauty of that truth. Gathering to worship and celebrating baptisms was a powerful reminder of the deep, lasting work God is doing in the hearts of our community. It is a true privilege to see lives transformed.

We are expectant for what He will do next, and we would be honored to worship alongside you tomorrow.

Join us tomorrow at 1:30 PM

The Bible paints a stark contrast between faithful leadership and self-exalting leadership.

Faithful leaders point people to Christ.
Self-exalting leaders point people to themselves.

Faithful leaders pursue maturity of their people.
Self-exalting leaders pursue loyalty from their people.

Faithful leaders equip people to stand.
Self-exalting leaders keep people dependent.

Faithful leaders rejoice when others grow.
Self-exalting leaders feel threatened by it.

Faithful leaders tremble under the weight of influence.
Self-exalting leaders crave it.

Paul’s warning to the church is still relevant today: Be on guard.
