This thought-provoking documentary reveals how modernity can sever our connection to nature, to one another, and to the ancestral realm—offering instead empty promises of salvation, unlimited consumption, economic growth, and individual happiness. As we are drawn into an intricate web of kinship and invited to honor the living presence of Mother Earth, a deeper remembrance begins to awaken. A sacred dance comes to life, and we begin to hear the eternal song of Life itself, calling us back to belonging. Registration appreciated.

Invite a Friend Sunday, September 13, 2026

When do you invite a friend, stranger, or acquaintance to the Unitarian Universalist Church of Fresno?

• If a person expresses loneliness, invite them
• If a person wants to develop more friendships, invite them
• If a person says they are not into organized religion but are spiritual and looking for something different, invite them
• If a person is skeptical about any organized religious institution but still wants that wonderful sense of community that you get from our church, invite them.
• If you know a mom, dad, or parents who are tired and need spiritual replenishment, invite them, we have a great children’s program.
• If you know parents who are looking to bring up their children with good, practical, common sense values, invite the whole family
• If a person is grieving or in pain emotionally and in need of a comfortable place to just be, invite them
• If a person is an introvert but wants to be around people with no immediate expectation of anything other than to sit and watch the world around them, invite them
• If a person is le***an, gay, transgender, non-binary, q***r, or pansexual, invite them to join a community that will accept them for who they are
• If you know a singer, carpenter, handyperson, hostess, teacher, walker, reader, writer, a person who wants to change the world, a lover of the arts, a lover of nature, a loner, a social butterfly, a new parent, an old parent, a married person, a divorced person -- ANYONE looking for some kindness in this loving community that is the Unitarian Universalist Church of Fresno, INVITE THEM.

We are not meant to be the best kept secret in our community. We are a community of loving, caring, and active individuals working in a collective fashion to better our worlds, our lives, and the worlds and lives of other people.

We do not have to be shy about wanting to support, change and uplift our community, our city, our country, and our world. We are UUs!!
