After a long hiatus, Pub Night is back for 2023! Here are the details:

When: January 7, 2023, 7pm

Where: Hillcrest Jewish Center

What: Food, Fun, Fellowship and Fermented beverages 🍺

Who: Everyone 21 and older

Cost: $25 for beer and food or $15 for just food

Come and join us on March 16th for some Purim fun! Festivities begin at 5:30pm with a Pizza party and a Mad Science Fire & Ice show for kids 3-10 years old. In celebration of Passover, Hillcrest Jewish Center is so excited to run its first ever Matzah Challenge and you're invited to participate!

Here's how you can participate:

Create a tasty treat featuring matzah (Think: matzah nachos, chocolate toffee matzah, matzah avocado toast, matzah pizza, etc.)

Take a photo of your matzah creation and send it to [email protected]

Submissions will only be accepted starting Tuesday, March 30 until Friday, April 2 by 4:00 PM)

Encourage your Hillcrest friends to join the Matzah challenge too!

Each photo that Hillcrest receives will be matched with an $18 donation thanks to a generous pair of anonymous donors- one photo submission per family/person.

Our next date for the book club will be on Wednesday, October 7th in the Kogan's Sukkah since it will be during Sukkot. (We will also have a zoom link for those who want to be at home during the meeting. We will get the link out as we get closer to the meeting.)
Since we have a lot of time until then, we thought it would be good to read another book and we can discuss them both at our next meeting. The new book we will read will be Kaddish by Nathan Englander. I hear it's a short read. So we will have a 2 for 1. Please make note of this date and I hope that we will see you then! Have a happy, healthy and sweet New Year! 🍎🍯🍏

Lunch and snacks will NOT be served

The event is FREE
