With the deepest sadness, we share that Sr. Suzanne's beloved fur friend, Trixie, passed away today.
Trixie was much more than a pet—she was part of the Bethany family and loved by so many who visited our retreat center. Whether she was greeting guests at the door, patiently waiting for Sr. Suzanne, resting by the car, or lying faithfully outside the door, Trixie's gentle presence brought comfort and joy to all who knew her.
Her water dishes could be found throughout the retreat center, a reminder that she truly made Bethany her home. She welcomed countless retreatants and visitors with her quiet companionship and loving spirit.
Today, there is an emptiness at Bethany that will be felt by many. We are grateful for the love, loyalty, and happiness Trixie shared so freely throughout her life.
Please keep Sr. Suzanne in your thoughts and prayers as she mourns the loss of her faithful companion.
Run free, sweet Trixie. You will be deeply missed, but never forgotten. ❤️🐾
