Mission Statement:
Islamic Society of East Bay (ISEB) is a nonprofit organization which holds the tenets of Islam as in the Holy Quran, and the practices of Prophet Mohammad (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him). ISEB dedicates itself to organize religious, educational and social activities for Muslims and communities at large. Goals:

•To facilitate regular congregational prayer services fo

r Muslims
•To operate a full-time elementary and weekend school
•To provide Islamic education for Muslims of all age groups and community at large
•To foster good relationship with the city officials of the Tri-City area (Fremont, Newark, Union City)
•To cooperate with local and national Islamic organizations
•To collect and distribute Zakat
•To provide a funeral facility and other burial services to Muslims
•To work harmoniously with groups of other faiths

*2026-2027 Boys and Girls Maktab Program*

Dear Community Members,
We are looking forward to beginning a new year of learning and spiritual growth in our young Muslims and Muslimahs InshaAllah!

Our children’s Maktab program (for children 5 and up) covers both Qaidah/Quran as well as Islamic fundamental subjects, like Aqidah, Fiqh, Seerah, and Adab to name a few. Placed in the masjid environment, our young learners will have the opportunity to create a fulfilling bond with other Muslim children and build a connection with the house of Allah.

*Maktab will begin on Wednesday, August 12 and will be held every Monday through Thursday from 4-5:30 PM*
