Romans 7 brings into clear view the wresting between good and evil, between flesh and spirit, between the good we want to do and the sin we do. So we focus in on this truth as we sing:

"Though redeemed I still battle the lies within
That silently war in my soul
In my weakness I yield to the power of sin
And desperately cry out for hope
But then grace rushes in like a mighty flood
New strength to engage in the fight

This week we sing about God's promises and that he is a faithful promise-keeping God. From the beginning of time, all the way to the culmination of time when we will feast in Zion, He has proven this to be true. So we worship in hope!
