In order to form meaningful relationships with someone, isn't it most important to first get to know that person? 👭

Without knowing much about them, we can't form genuine connections.

God desires the same.
In Hosea 6:6 God calls us to acknowledge Him, i.e. get to know Him. We know that God knows us, our thoughts and our hearts - but how much do we know the same for God? Let's start getting to know Him better so we can form stronger connection to God too! 🤝

The Bible is divided into two parts: the Old and New Testaments. Now what does the word "testament" mean❓

If you guessed "testimony," that is a very common answer. But unfortunately, that is incorrect!
We can look at the Greek origin for the word "testament," which refers to a will or covenant. So the Old and New Testaments are not merely a compilation of history and moral instructions, but actually contains God's promises for us all throughout! Have you ever seen the Bible in this way? If God recorded promises for us, then what exactly are those promises? How can these promises fulfill in my life? 🥹

Have you wondered what exactly is the Tree of Knowledge of Good and Evil that Adam and Eve ate from in the garden? 🌳 Was it an apple tree?🍎 Peach? 🍑 Or an orange? 🍊

The Bible doesn't actually say what type of fruit it was. But if you really think about it... what kind of tree gives knowledge of good and evil? Also, God said that if you eat of this tree, you will certainly die (Genesis 2:17). But Adam and Eve didn't actually die after eating from this tree. So this couldn't have been some kind of exotic, poisonous fruit tree that can kill someone physically 😵

Can we agree then that this tree of the knowledge of good and evil is full of mysteries?! 🔎 If you're curious let's explore together through the Bible. We will find trees mentioned all throughout the Bible - in fact there are two types of trees. Let's understand what they mean so we can know God's message clearly and correct any misunderstandings!
