‭‭Proverbs‬ ‭13‬:‭22‬ ‭TPT “‬‬The benevolent man leaves an inheritance that endures to his children’s children, but the wealth of the wicked is treasured up for the righteous.”

From a western mindset, when we see the word “inheritance” or “wealth,” our thoughts immediately think of money. Is that what God is trying to say here? Let us place ourselves in His mind. What is His desire?

Benevolent means charitable, kind, and generous. This kind of inheritance must continue to the children’s children. We need to think beyond our own selfish needs but think generational to our grandchildren and beyond for the purposes of honoring our eternal God. We must think of cultivating our “line or lineage,” to continue in the worship and praise of our eternal God. To show our God eternal gratitude, we leave instructions, teachings, and a way of life to our children leaving them to continue a legacy of faith. It is faith that pleases the Lord!

For example, as a parent, if I start a business, then I will be able to teach and allow my children to take over and continue a family legacy in business. Hopefully, this business can grow each generation as they become household names in business and status. As Kingdom people, we are to leave a legacy of faith so our children will continue what we had begun in our relationship with the King of Kings. As the Bible says, it is our job to teach our children about God and to keep His commandments. It is our job to teach them the covenant between God and us.

As pastors or those who are called into the priesthood whether through worship, preaching, or other capacity in serving, you are required to pass the legacy of this faith down to your children. You are required to mandate this precious gift of calling upon your children. Please do not be so ignorant and expect your pastor to raise your children while you try to only get high selfishly on the Holy Spirit’s anointing. Or because you do not have time because your time is consumed from devouring each other or constantly fighting poverty and the plagues of the world because of your sin? This is your job! You must get your life right. You are the one to lead your own children in God’s direction. If they are called into the priesthood which you all are, not only are you responsible for their spiritual education but you are responsible for their choice to continue in the legacy of faith as called upon for the King.

Worldly Christians spend a great deal of energy and time cultivating their children to become successful in the world. They want their children to become doctors, lawyers, and work at very high well known companies and hopefully paid extremely well. This in itself is not wrong but it is wrong when we do not equate such passion and encouragement to our children when it comes to building up their faith and to sustain it for generations. Worldly Christian parents may ask if their kids are studying to get into college but not ask if they are reading their Bible which is more eternally important! How can they when they themselves have bad habits and do not read nor pray themselves? And worldly parents we all were!

“The wealth of the wicked is treasured up for the righteous.”

Otherwise, what was for your children or your generations will be transferred to the ones who are willing to carry His Banner. Wealth is not just money but more valuable than gold and silver will be the wisdom, revelation, and oracles of God to carry to the next generation in the power of the Holt Spirit and thereafter for the glory of the Lord! As parents, this is part of your job and ministry. Or will your children, grandchildren and grandchildren’s children be but a v***r assimilated back into Egypt and Babylon lost again for many generations?

‭‭Today’s Bible verse comes from the book of Daniel chapter 12 discussing about end times.

Posted for the church of Fire of God but shared to the elect on Facebook.

Daniel‬ ‭12‬:‭1‬-‭3‬, ‭8‬-‭10‬ ‭TPT “‬‬At that time, the great angel-prince, Michael, protector of your people, will take his stand. It will be a time of great distress, the worst trouble your nation has ever known. When that time comes, your own people will be spared—all those whose names are found written in the Book of Life.

2 “Multitudes of those who are sleeping in the Land of Dust will awaken, some to everlasting life, some to shame and everlasting disgrace.

3 Those who are wise will shine radiantly as the sky at midday. And those who turn many to the way of righteousness will shine brightly as stars for all eternity.

8 I heard his answer, but it was like a riddle to me. So, I asked him, “Sir, how will all of this transpire?”

9 “You may go in peace, Daniel,” he replied. “The understanding of this message is to remain secret and sealed until the time of the end.

10 God will purify many people and make them clean and spotless, while the wicked will continue doing what is wicked. This revelation will remain a riddle to the wicked, but those who are wise will have profound understanding.”

This whole chapter is a riddle and only for the wise can it be unraveled. We at this ministry, church, and other churches around the world are being purified made clean and spotless. Your pastor is one of the two iron rods to sharpen one another. The problem is you are a wounded iron rod and as the Lord grinds you using the pastor, it can hurt very badly. Iron needs to be heated to made soft so the other iron hammer (your pastor) can mold you into shape. God will use me to pound you. Sometimes softly to meticulously shape you or severely for greater shape. Please do not take it personally. HE is trying to save you. We do not come sealed and marked. You come as outcasts in needing of a shepherd, guidance, direction, and healing. As it speaks in Matthew chapter 10, you were the lost sheep of Israel in needing of healing and HE has found you!! God has been trying to heal you through the years. HE is the Doctor. The pastors are the assistant’s doctors. Our leadership is the intern team. Interns will make greater mistakes as they learn and observe. But they need to go through this process and hopefully not giving the wrong medication losing any patients.

‭‭Isaiah‬ ‭10‬:‭15‬ ‭TPT‬‬ “Is the axe greater than the ONE who wields it? Is the saw greater than the ONE who cuts with it? Can the axe strike without a HAND to move it? Can a lifeless wooden cane walk all by itself?”

God is the One who wields, cuts, and strikes. The pastors or any other person, circumstance, event, or people are the instruments God uses to bring His Will and Plan into Order for your life whether for reward or discipline. Please give deep thought on what is being written here.

Continuing on the riddle, let us look at verse 3.

3 Those who are wise will shine radiantly as the sky at midday. And those who turn many to the way of righteousness will shine brightly as stars for all eternity.

The wise will shine radiantly but to obtain this wisdom, you must be used effectively to turn God’s people to the way of Righteousness. It is not just getting one saved for that is just the beginning of a long arduous journey into a new life. We may evangelize. We may bring people to the church. We may rap, sing and worship in front of many. We may allow people to live in our homes. But we need to learn how to bring healing to others by leading them to the way of His Righteousness. Such people will receive wisdom to shine radiantly. And here is the answer to the riddle as we read those verses above, the radiant ones will know and be given profound understanding for the end times. When the end days are here and approaching, those who are very wise will be given the authority with Jesus to unseal the secret seal for the understanding and answers to overcome what will come upon the world.

‭‭1 Kings‬ ‭1‬:‭5‬ ‭BSB‬‬ ““At that time Adonijah, David’s son by Haggith, began to exalt himself, saying, “I will be king!” And he acquired chariots and horsemen and fifty men to run ahead of him.”

2 “(His father had never once reprimanded him by saying, “Why do you act this way?” Adonijah was also very handsome, born next after Absalom.)”

Who was Adonijah? He was King David’s fourth son. He was killed by his own brother, King Solomon at a later date. Even as Adonijah was attempting a coup to take the throne prior to King David’s death, still one of King David’s personal characteristics described in verse 2, is failing to stop or even question his son’s rivalry. Only until Nathan and Bathsheba come to convince King David otherwise was the coup stopped.

King David’s failure as a dad to enforce, discipline, and take authority over personal and family matters cost him another son after his passing. King David was known as a man after God’s own Heart. When it came to faith, his trust, and loyalty in God, King David showed excellence. But as a father and husband, he made many mistakes that cost the lives of his children. We need to learn through this, but not only in the spiritual victorious of King David but learn through his tragedies of the human dilemma of family affairs or our children will pay the price!

Even in such tragedies, King David’s life teaches us we must always still cling and choose God less you fall away into perdition. Many may become angry at God and choose death (drinking, drugs, falling away, quitting, offense, gluttony, resentment, etc) but even in such tragic events which seem unrecoverable, are we still able to keep our eyes on God, choose Him, and surrender to His sovereignty. Only the humbled will be able to make it through with His Grace. The humbled will realize it is due to their own sin that life may be so tragic and therefore true repentance brings forth brokenness and humility which God will never turn away.

In the Bible and throughout Christianity, when we hear the name King David, he is associated with the phrase, "a man after God's own heart."

However, he had many flaws as a dad. In our church, we can see from the outside that even many of our own people look spiritual and holy as they come to church, pray, report in the prayer log and post about what they have read. There may even be great testimonies of how God has been moving in their lives.

King David had many victories, and we have read how he had to go through many tests, trials, and tribulations to become king of God's people. He also had many children, at least 19 sons and 1 daughter, but he lacked parental skills.

Even today, God can raise up outcasts like us, and we may become prayer warriors, gain knowledge of the Bible, and obtain positions of leadership, but still severely lack parental and marital skills. Such passive parenting brought tragedy into King David's life.

What was King David's problem? He was portrayed as an extraordinary king and a shadow of Christ to come, but as a man and a human, he was consistently a passive dad. Whether you are a mother or a father, if you raise your children passively and without proper discipline, although you may appear spiritual or even like "a man or woman of God" to others, you will still have trouble in your household.

Please read 2 Samuel 13, the account of the r**e of King David's only daughter by his firstborn, Amnon. What was King David's reaction and discipline afterward?

What was the result and the fruit?

What about his son Adonijah in 1 Kings 1? King David's plan to give the kingdom to Solomon was almost spoiled. Why? Read about it. There is a hint: King David never disciplined Adonijah because he was so handsome in David's eyes. It looks like King David's children were his idols.

Are your children so handsome and beautiful in your eyes that you fail to discipline them because you are more afraid of hurting their feelings than of setting them straight? King David paid a heavy price, and so will any parent who does not discipline their children because they look too precious in their eyes or because they are just too passive as a parent.

Scripture says “The Joy of the Lord is our strength!” So if you are mad or not to happy with God, then where will your strength come from? Is this why so many are weak, back sliding to vomit/temptation, and falling asleep?

‭‭1 Corinthians‬ ‭11‬:‭27‬-‭30‬ ‭BSB‬‬ “Therefore, whoever eats the bread or drinks the cup of the Lord in an unworthy manner will be guilty of sinning against the body and blood of the Lord.
28 Each one must examine himself before he eats of the bread and drinks of the cup.
29 For anyone who eats and drinks without recognizing the body eats and drinks judgment on himself.
30 That is why many among you are weak and sick, and a number of you have fallen asleep.”

If you sit in the audience angry, offended, or despised whether directly at God or His representatives, you are listening and participating in an unworthy manner and will be guilty of sinning against the church and Blood of Jesus which will bring judgement.

In the age of grace, when we resist in becoming the covenant people and when discipline or judgment is not rendered so quickly, we tend to believe we can act, do, imagine, and disrespect all we want. We think we can hold into our sin or idols.

When Adam and Eve sinned did they think, “Oh, we are still alive and not dead. It wasn’t that bad!”

It was not the immediate stopping of the heart beat or breath that we in western culture define as death. So when we do or say things and quick death is not immediate, do we think in the same manner?

How did death start? First, the glory that covered Adam and Eve was gone. They felt naked, exposed, and unprotected. Death made them hide. Do you hide? Are you hiding your fears? Death tells fear to hide so you hide. Rather than coming into the light when God approached, they hid. Rather than confessing and bringing your nonsense into the Light, you hide your dark activities from the church, pastors, and maybe even your own family members.

You say to yourself, “ok, so far so good! Nothing has happened to me!”

But death is not always immediate, it likes to work its way into your kids, finances, health, marriage, and your whole life. It works like yeast. It begins to affect your whole life. Maybe nothing immediate or impacting has happened in the last ten years but the stench of death is around as there is no joy!

God directly provided for Adam and Eve animal skins. It wasn’t immediate death but relief. When we are given relief and not immediate death, do we think we can just continue with our nonsense since judgement was not rendered?

How did death work like yeast? First, the glory was gone so they hid. They were kicked out of the Garden of abundance and peace. Adam’s finances are affected as he must toil always worrying about the concerns of his surroundings. Eve’s ability to bring life and joy is hindered as her labor pain is greatly increased. And lastly but not least, the process of withering was here. The process of aging towards death. But Adam got to live for 1000 years. Would long life make us blind of our sins? Would it hinder us from coming to true repentance?

You need to think about this! Maybe this is why life is not making much sense to you even though you say you got Jesus? Maybe your sin is getting in the way?

‭‭Ecclesiastes‬ ‭8‬:‭11‬ ‭BSB‬‬ “When the sentence for a crime is not speedily executed, the hearts of men become fully set on doing evil.”

‭‭To receive a prophet’s reward

What about the reward? Let us not give honor to an authority just for the sake of a reward. The reward is a byproduct of what we should do naturally out of love and obedience. We should stop being so transactional as this western culture has so ingrained us to be. We are not a religious people nor of this world, amen?

Let us look at Elijah. He is a prophet and a righteous person. When he went to the widow in Zarephath, what did the widow need to do to live? She only had one last meal for her and her only son. Let me repeat. She only had one meal left for her son. Elijah comes and tells her to feed him first with bread and water before her only son. Let me repeat. Elijah told her to serve him first and they can have the leftover. Was she mad at God for the famine? Was she resentful to the representative of God for their suffering? Did she tell him in her mind to get lost?
But Elijah did foretell her if she feeds him first, then she will be blessed and her oil and flour will not run out until the Lord sends rain. There will be a miracle while there is no rain. As Christians, we may experience many miracles while we are in the wilderness, personal famine, or personal suffering but there is a day when the next season comes. When the rain comes, should the widow keep looking in her jars for miracles? No, she needs to go get a JOB! She needs to go back to work. Many Christians just assume, based on their own opinions, think God will continuously provide in a miraculous way. No, get a full time job is your next season - and work hard!

The miraculous manna was only for the wilderness in Exodus and it stopped once they entered the promise land. If you want the promise land, stop living for handouts or freebies. Yes, freebies feel good at times but let’s grow up and learn to conquer and know how to give in honor and become those who give and serve abundantly.

When the widow obeyed giving the man of God first priority, what happened? The widow not only gave part of her last remaining meal, she served him by housing him under her hospitality. Her oil and flour did not run dry until the rain came and she served, fed, and housed Elijah for that period. I am sure she did his laundry and cleaned up after him during the whole famine while he took care of his godly duties.

Matthew‬ ‭10‬:‭40‬ ‭BSB “‬‬He who receives you receives Me, and he who receives Me receives the One who sent Me.”

In Jewish culture and thought, a messenger represented the sender. The agent of a man is as the man himself. If Jesus actually showed up in your home or church to give you a message, how would you treat Jesus? You would most definitely accept His message or Word. You would offer great hospitality. You would accept His authority and discipline. You would listen to every word and obey all instructions. You would show great respect. I do not think you would pick and choose what you want to hear. I do not think you would speak to Him as common.
If Jesus told you to uproot and move, would you? If Jesus told you leave your family behind for His sake, would you? If Jesus told you to take him some difficult people into your home, would you? If Jesus told you to get a job and work full time, would you? Would you look at Him with offense? Would you look with despise? Would you complain or vent about His decisions on you to your best friend? Jesus is not physically here so HE sent the Holy Spirit to work through His servants called “pastors” or leaders of the church. If refuse to obey or do only some of what is instructed, are you not rebelling?

Since HE is not physically here, God uses the chain of command or authority through the pastors in the power of the Holy Spirit.

Let’s look at other verses.

Luke 10:16: He who hears you hears Me.

John 13:20:Whoever receives the one I send receives Me.

This is kingdom culture and mindset. If we are God’s people, we need to think as God‘s people and not as citizens of this pagan world. Then you will find the path to abundant living.

‭‭The prodigal son or daughter

Luke‬ ‭15‬:‭28‬-‭30‬ ‭TPT “‬‬The older son became angry and refused to go in and celebrate. So his father came out and pleaded with him, ‘Come and enjoy the feast with us!’

29 “The son said, ‘Father, listen! How many years have I worked like a slave for you, performing every duty you’ve asked as a faithful son? And I’ve never once disobeyed you. But you’ve never thrown a party for me because of my faithfulness. Never once have you even given me a goat that I could feast on and celebrate with my friends as this son of yours is doing now.

30 Look at him! He comes back after wasting your wealth on prostitutes and reckless living, and here you are throwing a great feast to celebrate—for him!’”

We like to reference the prodigal son/daughter when we look at our own lives. But we need to look at the other angel of the older brother (sister) who at first appears faithful, loyal, and a hard worker. As I said in my sermons, it is all our fault, whichever side we are on. I will speak more on this, so please read about the prodigal son and see if you can observe how the older brother is actually bitter of his younger brother and situation, not viewing the celebration as fair. Therefore, are we also playing both roles of the older sibling besides the prodigal son or daughter?

You are initially saved by Grace through your faith! But after salvation, now what? Do nothing? Go about living the way you did? Be a part time Christian? A person who labels oneself a Christian but still has yet to read the whole bible nor a person who prays and dedicates oneself into the temple (church)?

No! We must bear fruit of repentance which will be deeds of obedience doing God’s will showing surrender and a new life. Otherwise, you may continue to show deeds of sin and disobedience which will lead to death.
