Stop by the Second Chance Closet on the 2nd and 4th Monday of every month between 6-7pm for free clothing, toys, and dishware. Everyone is welcome to help themselves to our abundance of donations for absolutely no cost, no questions asked, and no church membership required. A church in Freeville was active on Thursday, as more than 100 meals were given out or delivered to the community.

At this year’s Harvest Festival (on September 6th), we are supporting local groups by asking for donations of their most needed items. There will be boxes at the Harvest Festival for you to drop off your donated items. Any donation will be much appreciated.

For the Women's Opportunity Center:
Diapers of all sizes
Baby wipes
Shampoo/conditioner
Deodorant
Feminine hygiene products

For the Freeville Food Pantry:
Any non-perishable food items

For the Freeville Elementary School:
School supplies
Kleenex

For the SPCA:
Canned dog food
13 gallon trash bags
Liquid laundry soap
Meat flavored baby food (no onion/garlic)
Paper towels

We are pleased to announce the hiring of Rev. Theresa Eggleston as the new site director of Manidokan Camp & Retreat Center. Theresa is an ordained deacon in the UMC with a passion for camping ministry. She comes to Manidokan from Casowasco Camp and Retreat Center in the Upper New York conference where she began attending camp at the age of 12 and most recently served as the Program Director.

Theresa is a graduate of Wesley Theological Seminary. She holds an MA in Pastoral Care, a BS in Christian Formation with a minor in Outdoor Leadership Training. Theresa is a Master certified Biblical Storyteller through the Network of Biblical Storytelling and she finds joy in telling Biblical stories for all ages.

She is excited to continue saying “Yes!” to God’s call upon her life and become part of the Manidokan community.

Theresa brings her spouse, two children and their family dog, Finn, to Manidokan.

Theresa’s first day will be March 11th. Please join us in welcoming Theresa and her family to Manidokan!

The Harvest Festival has something for everyone.

For the kids: bounce house, face painting, and a visit from Bluey (11:00).
For the hungry: bbq chicken dinner, breakfast sandwiches, hot dogs, and homemade pies.
For everyone: area vendors, harvest table, and entertainment from the Rose Alaimo Trio (12:00) and Ithaca College’s Premium Blend (1:00).
