Have you ever wondered what the marks mean on the sides of a vessel?

A strong marriage is not built by avoiding battles. It is built when a husband and wife stand shoulder to shoulder and fight the real enemy together.

Today, we join our friends at Port Freeport and honor our American Flag!!!

Today, we honor the symbol of our nation’s unity, strength, and resilience—our American flag.

At Port Freeport, the flag flies high over our terminals, representing our country and the hardworking men and women who move commerce across our coastlines and into communities nationwide.

As we mark Flag Day, we remember that the stars and stripes reflect the same values that guide our work: integrity, service, and dedication to progress.

Snap a photo of the American flag where you are today and share it in the comments!

TPM family and friends:

Please help us get the word out!!! Copy and share!!!

Please listen to kjic 90.5 this Monday! Times below!!!

Hi Chris,
I wanted to let you know that the Texas Port Ministry Ministry Spotlight will begin airing this Monday.

The on-air spotlight will run during the following times:

7:40 AM
12:40 PM
5:40 PM

The full blog will be published at 7:30 AM Monday morning and can be found on our website at kjic.org under Outreach.

We will also be sharing the spotlight on our social media channels, including Facebook, Instagram, and X.

It was such a privilege to spend time serving alongside Texas Port Ministry and learning more about the incredible ways God is working through your staff and volunteers. My prayer is that this spotlight honors the ministry of TPM, the people you faithfully serve each day, and most importantly, glorifies God for all He is doing through those relationships and opportunities.

If you would be willing, I would love for you to encourage TPM supporters, volunteers, and partnering churches to listen for the spotlight and share the blog and social media posts with others. My hope is that it not only increases awareness of the ministry, but also encourages people to pray for the work happening at the Port of Freeport and consider getting involved.

Thank you again for allowing me to spend the day with your team. I came away encouraged by what I saw and grateful for the opportunity to share your story with our listeners.

Called to Grace,
Amber Cole

TPM family and supporters, This is the latest update from Pierce who is serving in Greenland. Please keep him in your prayers. He will be in Greenland 19 more days!!!🙏. Thank you for praying!

Last night we spent a couple of hours in the prison where we worshipped, and a devotion was given, in Greenland, of course. On Wednesday mornings, I attend lessons with another volunteer, Jonna, where I am attempting to learn a very basic level of the language in order to better communicate. Tomorrow I will visit the Fisherman's Wharf with cookies, coffee, and tea to have conversations with the fishermen. I am excited to report that this Sunday, we have two cruise ships coming to Nuuk, the first of the big season. We have begun planning, and we will hand out flyers inviting them back to the hotel, where they can relax, drink coffee, and we can have good conversations with them. We were recently gifted Tagalog Bibles, so hopefully we can begin to give those to Filipino workers from the ships. The ship visits are also going well; each week, we remain consistent in visiting ships. I'm excited to report ways that when I return, we can continue aiding the mission work here in Nuuk, and specifically in relation to the prisons. Best wishes, Pierce.
