Highlights from yesterday’s Women’s Day! 💜💚🤍

The ladies came looking absolutely beautiful in their purple, green, and white! We also witnessed a special baby christening, and received two powerful words from our very own Mother Lerrell Turner and Rev. Rosalind Hall!

Today we honor Alice H. Parker, a trailblazer, innovator, and inventor whose creativity helped shape the way we experience modern heating systems. As an African American woman in the early 1900s, she broke barriers by designing a revolutionary gas-powered central heating system, laying the foundation for the comfort many homes enjoy today.

Her legacy is a reminder that innovation has always lived within us, and her impact continues to inspire generations of thinkers, creators, and pioneers.

Women’s History Month has begun 😄💜🙌

Today we honor Mattie Moss Clark, a trailblazer, visionary, and gospel music pioneer. As the first woman to serve as International Minister of Music for the Church of God in Christ, she revolutionized choir sound, excellence, and musical structure in the church.

Her legacy lives on through generations, including the legendary The Clark Sisters, and countless musicians who stand on the foundation she built.

Women's Weekend in commemoration of Women's History Month is going to be EPIC at Zion Cathedral!

Mark your calendar now and get your mind and body prepared for a LOCK-IN. Yup! Check in at 10p on March 20th and check out at 7a on the 21st. All-night retreat-level programming for women 25-45 and 45+. And then let's celebrate womanhood on Sunday, March 22nd at 8a and 11a.
