As part of the Presbyterian Church in American (pcanet.org), we seek to be “Faithful to the Scriptures, True to the Reformed Faith, and Obedient to the Great Commission.”

We meet at 413 W Empire Street in Freeport, IL (First Baptist Church building). On Sundays we have Christian education classes for all ages at 9:30 a.m., followed by public worship at 10:45. Stephenson St. - Suite 200, Freeport, IL 61032.

This Sunday!

We may not often think about our worship of the Lord in terms of sacrifices, but our prayers and songs and receiving God's Word are our acts of sacrificial worship to the Lord. (Hebrews 13:15) And the Lord calls us each Lord's Day to gather before him to offer him this worship.

This Sunday, we will finish the exposition of Matthew's Gospel with a second sermon from Matthew 28:16-20, focusing on Jesus' commission in 18-20. Here is the worship order to help you prepare.

This final Sunday of May, we will celebrate the Lord's Supper together, share in prayers, and finish up Matthew 25 with "Christ's Final Judgment from verses 31-46.

This is our last Sunday School gathering before a summer break. In the adult class, I will share a preview of this year's General Assembly in Louisville. I will share some basics about GA as well as what particular matters are before the church this year. Please stay so that you can see how to pray for GA this year.
