Yesterday was Pentecost Sunday! It was also one of our Congregational Conversation Sundays. This time, Pastor Spencer led us in a conversation and exercise based on concepts from the book, "I Beg To Differ" by Tim Muehlhoff. Our deacon board has been studying this book, which focuses on navigating difficult conversations. Afterwards we fellowshipped over an indoor picnic potluck, including soft serve ice cream (thanks to Tim Graber for loaning us his machine!) with an incredible toppings bar provided by our Young Adult class. 🩷

What a lovely morning we had together, celebrating all the nurturing women in our congregation! 💐

Hosanna! Blessed is He who comes in the name of the Lord! 🌿Our Palm Sunday service this morning ushered in Holy Week, which brings many opportunities for worship and fellowship.

Tonight through Wednesday night, Community Holy Week services will be held at the Freeman Community Center, starting with cookies, coffee and fellowship at 6 p.m., and the service starting at 6:30. Suzette Shreffler, an ordained pastor and member of the Northern Cheyenne Tribe in Montana, will be our speaker.
On Thursday, we will meet at church at 6:30 p.m. for a light Maundy Thursday supper and communion service.
On Friday, our annual Good Friday tenebrae service will be held at 7 p.m.
On Sunday morning, Easter breakfast will be served starting at 8:30, followed by the Easter egg hunt at 9, and worship at 9:30.
EVERYONE in the community is welcome to join us for any of these services!

Our fifth and final Lenten Study Series session will take place this Sunday afternoon at 4 pm. Freeman Regional Health Services' social worker, Lindsey Unruh, will offer helpful information on "Advance Directives on Care at the End of Life." All are welcome!
