The Freeman Cemetery There are a minimum of 36 military graves including veterans of the Civil War, W.W.I, W.W.II, Korean and the Vietnam War.

Individual donations are the only source of funds to cover the costs of maintenance.There is no public funding for maintenance. Locaton: In township 8 South, range 2, east of third principal meriaian, Williamson County, State of Illinois. Situated immediately West of the village of Freeman Spur in Southern Illinois.
