UUCWI recently delivered an abundance of gift baskets to LIHI for their new residents moving into affordable housing. We were delighted to launch a congregational effort to assemble and purchase personal care and cleaning products for these folks to have a soft landing as they settled into their new homes. LIHI responded: "Thank you again for the welcome kits! We very much appreciate the help and support, and I know our clients do, as well. Our clients often come to the shelter with almost nothing, and being a non-profit, we are limited on what we can provide. Your welcome kits will be a great help!" 'reAllInThisTogether.

We care about social justice and educating ourselves about how to be effective and model making connections.

Join us for the UU Common Read informational meeting TOMORROW, THURSDAY NOV 20TH AT 3PM in our Sanctuary!

You'll learn about the author of Social Change Now, what to expect at the 3 discussion sessions planned for January, where to purchase the book, and more.

We'll do this informally over tea/coffee.

See you there!
