Have you ever noticed the beautiful flowers in the window boxes around Calumet? So many of them are there because of the Leightons and friends from St.John Sudbury in MA. They have been making the trip up every spring for over 30 years to help make Calumet the special place we all know and love. A huge thank you to mother daughter duo Jen and Carol Leighton, and newest member Kathy Menzel, we are so grateful for everything you do each and every year!

A few weeks ago we had a amazing time at our mid week Fruits & Roots!
So grateful for Judy, Todd, Sue , Gary, and everyone who made this retreat such a special experience. The conversations were real, the connections were deep, and fun times were had!

Spring Cleaning Work Weekend is officially in the books!

From raking leaves to fresh renovations, we came together to do what needed to be done and make sure camp stays the place we all know and love. This weekend was a great reminder of what community is all about with people showing up, pitching in, and taking pride in something we share.

Thank you to everyone who gave their time and energy. It truly means the world to us. We can’t wait to see you all back here soon!

We had 20+ rostered leaders gathered with Deacon Judy Smith and Pastor Elizabeth Nees facilitating. They explored what it means to lead through transitions, explored the use of labyrinths, prayed around the cross, and enjoyed fun, fellowship, rest, and renewal together. We’re grateful to all our rostered and licensed lay ministers throughout the New England Synod for the ministry and partnership they share with Calumet.
