Let us pray:

For Ayotte and for Warminton, for Pappas and for Sununu, for DiLorenzo and for Shaheen, for Boudman and for McConkey, for all those who are running for NH House seats, and for those running for seats at the county level ...

O God, may candidates be honest and fair in the weeks to come leading up to Election Day ... may words spoken be words that point to truth and reflect facts from news sources and government data that have integrity ... may initiatives and plans shared by candidates be ones that are meant to help all NH citizens -- but most especially benefit the ones who are most on the margins:
.. the ones who are hungry ... the ones who lack sustainable housing ... the ones who struggle with wellness ... the ones who worry about aging ... the ones who struggle with addiction ... the ones who need help paying bills ... the ones who lack hope ... the ones who struggle to survive ... the ones who are not yet adults and therefore are depending on adults to make smart decisions for a hopeful future ...

Bring your Holy Spirit to community conversations so that people can humbly listen to and humbly share with each other. May all your people seek to understand the perspective(s) of their neighbor.

Keep all candidates safe from harm and let their hearts be shaped so that they will be excellent stewards of our Democracy.

We pray in a spirit of love. Amen.

Join us on Thursday, October 8, 2026, at the Town Hall for the First Christian Church of Freedom's Second Annual Italian Dinner! It will be an evening of delicious food, friendship, and fun.

Tickets are $20 for adults and $5 for children (10 and under). Tickets are available for both dine-in and take-out. Please state your preference when purchasing. Tickets are limited and this event sold out last year, so buying early is recommended!

Such concentration to be sure all of the change given by the congregation got down the noisy chute and into the noisy pot!

Week 1 & 2 = Total of $600+
Week 3 (yesterday) = not yet counted
Week 4 (SEPT 13) = the last noisy offering

All to fund Personal Care Kits for people we’ll never meet who are going through it (famine, earthquake, flood…).

We’ll be assembling not 200, not 300, but 400+ kits due to generous giving. This is what loving neighbor looks like. God is good. Learn more about kits and making a gift by visiting:

It’s a tough world out there.
